Good Morning Beloved,

Happy Friday!  “Arise! Let your light shine for all to see.  For the Glory of the L ord rises to shine on you. (Isaiah 60:1)…Jesus=The Light of the World.  The children of God=lights of the world.  We are called to be light in a dark world.  Jesus wants to so fill us, that His light, love and power will shine through us, and somebody will know that He is real.  They will want to know how we can keep joy when the world is in such disarray. How can we have hope when everything is in such a mess.  With long-established companies folding or downsizing, crime on the rise, debauchery all around… how in the world can you maintain your peace?  The answer lies in the light of the world.  We have an eternal hope and security, but God has also made promises to us here in the land of the “living”…. all things work together for the good, to those who love God to those who are the called according to His purpose … Romans 8:28 (can you tell I love that scripture).  Our mission in life is to maintain our “light” and make sure we “abide under the shadow of the Almighty” no matter what the new ‘in’ thing is, how unpopular the ‘old rugged cross’ may seem to be.  God doesn’t follow culture.  Culture has a tendency to twirl in cycles.  What is a popular “must have” today, is “bammified” tomorrow! (D.C translation for ‘unpopular’)  However, 10 years from now that thing will be back ‘in style’.  God is in a class all His own.  His elegance and style have no match.  His beauty is stunning… His eloquence is amazing.  His power has no equal or rival.  (Wow!…. that must have made the enemy mad…my email just shut down for no reason… WHATEVER it’s the truth anyhow! LOL!)  God… light of the world… the illumination of my heart.  He has given us vision in utter darkness.  He is a light for our pathway. No step we will ever take is beyond His notice.  He has good plans for us…(Jeremiah 29:11)

… and that family is Good News!

That you may be blameless and harmless, the sons (and daughters) of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom you shine as lights in the world….
