For God so loved the world that He gave His only Begotten Son, that whosoever believe in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

John 3:16

Good Morning Beloved,

What an absolutely beautiful day!  I am a part of the cast of “The Bride” at Evangel Cathedral.  The Bride is an absolutely phenonmenal play that gives a beautiful, thought provoking and downright entertaining portrayal of the Bride of Christ -the Church- its growth, trials and tribulations in a very unique way.  Yesterday, at rehearsal one scene stuck out to me and really ministered to my heart.  Demons were attacking the Bride, but she was completely oblivious, dancing around the stage in la-la land.  The Angels of the Lord were protecting her, and they were working hard.  At the end of the scene, they were tired and marveled at how completely unaware she was at the level of attack that had been launched against her.  That is a picture of us.  I believe we would be shocked if we could see the attacks leveled against us on a daily basis.  The accidents we’ve missed, the assaults that were thwarted.  The plans of the enemy for our destruction, that never materialized.  How do I know?  Because God said that He would, “not allow you to be tempted above that you are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that you may be able to withstand it. [1 Corinthians 10:13)That tells me that His Hand is on the pressure button.  I know that's frustrating to those of us going through difficult times.  The first question we hear is "how can a loving God allow such bad things to happen to good people?".  There are some questions that will never be answered this side of heaven, and when we get to the other side they won't matter.  I don't know why one plane can crash and everyone survive, and another crash and everyone perish.  I know that the bible tells us that it is, "appointed to man once to die and then after that the judgement", but I don't know why some appointments are earlier than others.  What I do know is that there is an intense battle going on around us, and for the most part we are oblivious.  We get up, get ready for work, maybe go someplace after work, go home, get ready for the next day when we start it all over again.  I praise God because as bad as a situation is, it can always get worse.  Whatever state we find ourself in, we need to remember four things, (1) God loves us, (2) it will not last forever, (3) God knows what we can handle, what we're made of, and what He has placed in us and (4) "all things work work together for good, for those who are called according to His purpose". [Roman 8:28].

…. and that my friend is Good News!  Stand Firm.

Jesus has made His proposal to the world, offering gifts of love and righteousness. The people of the world would be crazy not to accept his offer.
