[Romans 13:12]
“Shake ‘em off”
Good Morning Beloved,
Short and sweet
…. shake ‘em off… every hindrance, every encumbrance, every fear, every feeling of low esteem, helplessness, hopelessness, defeat. Shake ‘em off. Every device sent to hinder and destroy… shake it off. Greater is He who is within us, than he who is in the world [1 John 4:4]. Our God is “able to do exceeding, abundantly above all that we could ever ask or think according to the power that works within us” [Ephesians 3:20]. The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance [2 Peter 3:9]. We are children of God, heirs of God, joint heirs with the king of kings Jesus. All power is in His hand and He has delegated power to us. He said that, “…these signs shall follow them that believe; In My name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. [Mark 16:17-20:]. We were given this challenge of growing in faith in 2 Peter 1:3-7, “By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence. And because of his glory and excellence, he has given us great and precious promises. These are the promises that enable you to share his divine nature and escape the world’s corruption caused by human desires. In view of all this, make every effort to respond to God’s promises. Supplement your faith with a generous provision of moral excellence, and moral excellence with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with patient endurance, and patient endurance with godliness, and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love for everyone”. We can do it!
