Beautiful Savior

Happy Friday!

Son of God… son of man.  The last Adam… Jesus.  I’ve always found it fascinating that He is fully God and fully man.  He is not conflicted.  He has no identity issues.  He knows who He is… He knows what His purpose is.  Once you know who you are, no one can convince you otherwise.  If someone calls you something “outside” of your name, don’t sweat it, they’re not talking to you.  If someone yells, “hey stupid!”, why even turn around, that’s not your name.  I’ve discovered that folks who constantly hurl insults and try to denigrate people all the time have serious issues.  Their issues lie with them moreso than the offended person.  Many people, especially our young people, are way too concerned about what other people think about them.  They may say that they don’t care, but their reaction tells a different story.  October 17, 2006, a beautiful young lady died from hanging herself in her own closet because the ‘boy’ she became infatuated with over ‘MySpace’ wrote mean things to her, even commenting that “the world would be a better place without her”.  The infuriating part of the story is that it was all a prank.  A cruel hoax set up by the mother of one of her “friends” to see what this young lady was saying about her daughter. So sad that someone’s precious child is gone because she did see how valuable she really was.  She was absolutely priceless to her family.  If I only accomplish one thing in my life, I hope that I can expose the lying lips of the enemy, and show people how priceless they are.  That every person has a God given, God ordained destiny for their life.  No one can ever take their place. God is…when we fill in the blanks of what we need Him to be, we’ll discover that He’s even more than that …
