Prayer = Love

Keep on loving each other as brothers and sisters. Don’t forget to show hospitality to strangers, for some who have done this have entertained angels without realizing it! Remember those in prison, as if you were there yourself. Remember also those being mistreated, as if you felt their pain in your own bodies. [Hebrews 13:1-3]

Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that you may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. [James 5:16]
PRAYER = LOVE
Good Afternoon Beloved,
What a beautiful day! It never ceases to amaze me how it can be so beautiful in one region while another is experiencing chaos on an unimaginable scale. We’ve had an unseasonable cold snap, the biggest snow storm in recent years, and we came through it basically unscathed. My poor backyard shed
became a casualty of the storm… it collapsed from the weight of the snow. That was it. That was a blessing. It broke my heart to hear of Haiti’s devastation. For a nation that was already suffering so much, (remember some were eating ”cookies” made of dirt) there are no words to describe the agony of those precious people. We hear so many horrific events in the news that if we’re not ‘prayerful’ we can become desensitized and numb. Just shake our heads and say, “wow … that’s awful” and move on. Most of the time it is a feeling of helplessness. A feeling that there is nothing that we can do, so we do nothing. Well, there is always something we can do. Whatever resources we have at our disposal, God’s Word admonishes us to do what we can to aid the poor. The pennies in our couch are more than some people, in some parts of the world see all week. God said that whoever gives to the poor lends to God. That is a powerful statement. That means that whatever we give to help them, God says that HE will pick up the tab for it. WOW! … That is mind-blowing! We are blessed. For the child of God who has absolutely nothing, they still have something of infinite value … a relationship with the Living God and the power of prayer. The bible assures us that our prayers mean a lot. Much more than we even realize. His ears are attentive to our cries… His eyes are always upon us (Psalm 34:15)… we are near and dear to His heart and are written in the palm of His hands(Isaiah 49:16)….
When we call on Him… He will answer…
and that Beloved is Good News!
Y Stress? … U Blessed!
Have A Fabulous Day
Regina
Father God, in the Name of Jesus, Lord we thank You for all that You have done for us. You have blessed the works of our hands and made us fruitful. You have given us gifts and talents to be shared with the world. You are our Source and resource. It is from You that all blessings flow. You said that the effectual fervent prayer of the righteous avails much. You said that when we call on You, that You would answer. We’re calling on You Father to heal the land of Haiti. Heal her citizens, spiritually, physically, mentally, socially, emotionally and financially. Bless Haiti with resources they’ve never had before. Pour Your love and goodness over them like the rich, fragrant oil of the Holy Spirit. Bless Your people that You have established there who are working and laboring in that precious vineyard. Build them up from the inside out and let them be an example of Your love, grace and power. Still the land Father. Comfort all of those who mourn. Bless every hand that helps them and return their blessing to them 100 fold…Bless Rudy and his family… keep them in Your care and meet their every need. Father, we know that You can do all things. Nothing is too hard for You. We know that You are not slack concerning Your promises. We know that it is not Your will that any perish, but that all come to repentance. We thank You and bless You for an amazing end to this situation, that will cause the world to take notice. Have Your way with us and through us and we will be so careful to give You all of the praise and all of the Glory in JESUS powerful name we pray this and believe that it is so… AMEN.
Wyclef Jean’s tweeting for Haiti galvanizes Web
14 mins ago
NEW YORK – Wyclef Jean is one of Haiti‘s most famous sons, and his tweeting about the earthquake there has been a galvanizing force on the Web.
Jean is most famously a member of the now-defunct Fugees (FOO’-jeez). Publicist Leslie Chasky says he arrived Wednesday in Haiti and is focusing on his family, his Haitian charity and responding to the disaster.
Several of the most popular topics on Twitter referred to a tweet from the singer urging people to send a text to the charity, Yele (YAY’-lay), to donate $5 toward relief. The number is 501501.
Hundreds are passing his message on by the minute, and it appears the Yele Web site has crashed under the traffic. A Yele spokeswoman isn’t immediately commenting.

Haiti Earthquake Relief: How You Can Help
Wed Jan 13, 4:11 am ET
An earthquake centered near the impoverished Haitian capital of Port-au-Prince caused the collapse of several buildings and an unknown number of fatalities Tuesday. The quake measured 7.0 on the Richter scale and at least 1.8 million people live within the area where the earthquake had its highest intensity.
U.S. President Barack Obama said on Tuesday that his “thoughts and prayers” were with the people of Haiti. “We are closely monitoring the situation and we stand ready to assist the people of Haiti,” Obama said in a statement. The Obama administration said that the State Department, USAID and the U.S. military were working to coordinate an assessment of the situation and any possible assistance.

Israel Houghton – The Power of One…
How do you like your gospel music? I usually fall in two categories: heart-felt ballads and rousing choral pieces. With his new CD The Power of One, Israel Houghton has reminded me that there’s a third category. Houghton reminds music lovers that…
