Good Afternoon Beloved,

Happy Friday! MySpaceGraphicsandAnimations.org What a beautiful day! My day was busy, but so peaceful… dare I say serene. It is possible to experience both. I’ve learned much over the years in working in different offices. I discovered that every office has a certain climate… a spiritual temperature. Some offices are “hot”…tempers are constantly flaring and everyone is on edge. Others are “cold”… sterile, unwelcoming, and uncomfortable. Still others are “cool”. If you work in a cool office, you are blessed. The people are cool, the work is cool, the pay is cool, the commute is cool. No place will ever be perfect, but a cool workplace is a benefit. We were saved by grace and our salvation brought to us the benefit of having a loving God, angels encamped around us, the power of the Holy Spirit dwelling within us and many more benefits. Yeaaaa!!! “Way cool” …However, we also inherited an enemy. Fred Hammond sings a song “No Weapon”. On one of the recordings, he said, “one thing you can count on for sure, the enemies of God still hate God… and they don’t care for you either”. Sounds depressing, but it is the truth. It makes our having a strong relationship with our God vital to our very survival. We also need healthy relationships with our brothers and sisters in the Body of Christ. We should be surrounded by people who understand us. People who won’t get nervous when you just wanna praise God. People who will praise Him with you. We are soldiers. We are teachers. We are ministers. We are example setters. When times get tough, we should also realize that even though we are more than conquerors, there is no shame in running to our Heavenly Father’s Arms and hiding ourselves in His presence for a while. He is our protector and our strength. He already purchased our debt by the completed work of the cross… rest in that. He still gives life and He doesn’t stop there, but He gives LIFE EVERLASTING!
