“Bridge to Destiny”

Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
[Romans 5:1]

“Bridge to Destiny”

Good Morning Beloved,

I pray you had as wonderful a Christmas Celebration as my family and me.  What I enjoyed the most was the rest! LOL!  My firm was closed Monday and Tuesday and the family was off as well so, we had a great time of rejuvenation.  You know, these bodies of ours are remarkable.  They are able to withstand much, but part of taking care of it in addition to good nutrition, and exercise is R*E*S*TI-) sleepy.  It is like charging a battery.  We need rest.  Our body.. our mind… our spirit  needs rest too.  The Bible tells us to “cast our cares on the Lord for He cares for us”.  Cast them, throw them on the Lord.  His are the only shoulders strong enough to carry them.  We need to take our rest in Him.  I’m reminded that His Yoke is easy and His burden is light.  He knows how much we can take. Many times we’ve said, “I can’t take anymore!”:(( crying.. and then something else happens:-O surprise.  Now think back on those times.  You’re still here.  You took that, and that and probably some more and you are still here!  You are still in your right state of mind, I mean, you may feel like you’re going bonkers sometimes, but the men in white have not taken you to the lil rubber room so you’re doing well!:-)/\:-) high five.  You are still praising God~^o^~ cheer.  You may have been wounded:(fight) fight, but you did not die.  You did not give up:-(||> give up.  You did not turn away from God, and if you did, you came back to Him (or you can:) happy).  You my friend are a survivor.  You are not just a “conqueror”, in the eyes of Heaven you are MORE than a conqueror!  As we count down the final hours of 2011 (my how fast time flies!), , it will do us good to remember who really holds the world in His Hands.  Jesus is our bridge to safety in God.  Right on the heels of Christmas, where we just celebrated the greatest Gift ever given humanity ~ Jesus ~.  Now we are about to embark on a brand new year.  I don’t take that for granted.  Ever new year is a gift from God.  It is another opportunity to do what we haven’t done.  We have much to do.  Let’s start by drop kicking, all of that old negative stuff that has been holding us back.  Let’s leave that “stinkin’ thinkin’” in 2011.  Let us determine to be the vessels God has designed for us to be.  Let’s bless the Lord with our life!  It is an honor to be trusted with the gifts, talents, grace, and favor that we have.  God hasn’t given up on us.  He is still looking,For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward Him. “[2 Chronicles 16:9].

And THAT Beloved, is Good News!

Y Stress?  .. U Blessed!
Have a Wonderfully Blessed Day and a Great, Safe & Happy New Year’s weekend!

A girl went to her friends house and she ended up staying longer than
planned, and had to walk home alone

She wasn’t afraid because it was a small COMMUNITY and she lived only a few
blocks away.

As she walked along under the bike trail Diane asked God to keep her safe
from harm and danger.

When she reached the alley, which was a shortcut to her house, she decided
to take it.

However, halfway down the alley she noticed a man standing at the end as
though he were waiting for her.

She became uneasy and began to pray, asking for God’s protection.

Instantly a comforting feeling of quietness and security wrapped round her,
she felt as though someone was walking with her.

When she reached the end of the alley, she walked right past the man and
arrived home safely.

The following day, she read in the newspaper that a young girl had been
raped in the same alley just twenty minutes after she had been there.

Feeling overwhelmed by this tragedy and the fact that it could have been
her, she began to weep.

Thanking the Lord for her safety and to help this young woman, she decided
to go to the police station.

She felt she could recognize the man, so she told them her story.

The police asked her if she would be willing to look at a lineup to see if
she could identify him.

She agreed and immediately pointed out the man she had seen in the alley the
night before.

When the man was told he had been identified, he immediately broke down and
confessed.

The officer thanked Diane for her bravery and asked if there was anything
they could do for her.

She asked if they would ask the man one question.

Diane was curious as to why he had not attacked her.

When the policeman asked him, he answered,
‘Because she wasn’t alone.

She had two tall men walking on either side of her.
Goodness (Angel 1) and Mercy (Angel 2) shall follow you all the days of your
life.

Amazingly, whether you believe or not, you’re not alone.

The Peace Bringer …

And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be taxed. (And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.) And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city. And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:) To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child. And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered. And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn. And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; you shall find the Babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

[Luke 2:1-14]

  The Peace Bringer…

Good Morning Beloved,

Christmas is almost here!  Most people know I LOVE celebrating birthdays!  Other people’s as well as my own. Christmas is the time of year set aside to celebrate the  birth our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  That’s a GOOD thing.  Yes, there are parts that are steeped in paganism, commercialism and other “ism’s”… but that is not what I celebrate.  My birthday is the day before Halloween.  All during the month of October, there are all sorts of Halloween celebrations, rituals and God knows what all, but that does not affect me and how I celebrate “my” day. I don’t ignore the day of my birth, just because someone else decides to celebrate it in an un-Godly manner, and we shouldn’t ignore Christmas for the same reason.  This was THE FIRST greatest event in all of human history.  God kept His promise to redeem man-kind by sending His only begotten Son to earth as a baby.  We don’t know exactly when Jesus was born.  We celebrate that He was born.  Just as a little side note.  In our family, we don’t know when my Grandmother on my mom’s side was born.  The records were destroyed and no one could remember.  There was even great uncertainty whether the year was 1899 or 1900, but a day was chosen ~January 10th~ to celebrate her birthday.  She was loved and appreciated and someone wanted to make sure she had a day set aside to celebrate her.  That is how I view the birth of the Christ Child.  He was the greatest love-gift of all time.  He is the Gift that keeps on giving.  When we give gifts, we are acting like our Heavenly Father.  A gift is not something you can ever earn.  It comes from the heart of the giver.  What would it look like if you gave me a gift and I pulled out my wallet and said, “OK.. how much do I owe you?” You would probably be insulted.. I know I would be.  God gave His BEST for us.  His Gift is often trashed, maligned, ignored, and mocked.. but for us it is treasured, adored, loved, and cherished.  Our most valuable asset is our relationship with the King of all Kings.. The Lord of all Lords.. JESUS.. The Christ.. The Anointed One.  Don’t allow the festivities or the pressures of the Holiday season to overwhelm you.  The most important gift will never be what is under the tree, but rather the One who would, many years after this blessed night, be hung on a tree for the sins of humanity.  This great Savior would then return to His place on the Throne of Heaven, ever making intercession for His Beloved ~ you and me~ and will return one day to bring us home… That’s the true Christ of Christmas….

… and that Beloved is Good News!

Y Stress? … U Blessed!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!

What Is It?

Written by FAVORED1 on December 15, 2011 – 2:29 pm -

“When He (Jesus) ascended to the heights, He led a crowd of captives and gave gifts to His people.” Notice that it says “He ascended.” This clearly means that Christ also descended to our lowly world. And the same One who descended is the one who ascended higher than all the heavens, so that He might fill the entire universe with Himself. Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do His work and build up the church, the body of Christ. This will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God’s Son that we will be mature in the Lord, measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ. Then we will no longer be immature like children. We won’t be tossed and blown about by every wind of new teaching. We will not be influenced when people try to trick us with lies so clever they sound like the truth. Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of His body, the church. He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.

 [Ephesians 4:8-16]

“What is it?”

Good Afternoon Beloved,

I love Dewayne “The Rock” Johnson… looking at his quote this morning, got me to thinking.  He is unique because of his style, his look, and his abilities.  He’s carved out a niche for himself where he can effortlessly flow from wrestling to acting to public speaking to where ever he wants to go.  He has created a “brand”. My question to you (and me;) winking), “what is our ‘brand’“.  What is it about you that is “uniquely you”?  Finding out what that is and developing it will please and glorify God (because He gave it to you) and cause people to gladly invest in it. As we keep our gaze on our beautful Savior, He begins to “harvest” out of us what He planted in us.  What is it that you do well, that comes so easily to you that you don’t consider it that big of a deal.  My daughter writes very well.  She used to write constantly.  There were little pieces of paper all over her room of short stories, poems, thoughts.  She is so quiet, writing became a way for her to express herself.  She couldn’t believe that it was an actual gift.  She wanted to be able to sing or dance. I told her they were all gifts, just like her writing, but she was skeptical.  It came naturally to her.  I explained to her that for some people singing, and dance come just that naturally.  They do it without really giving it much thought.  They have natural ability and talent.  The next level is to take that natural, God-given ability, hone and perfect it.  However ‘good’ we are, we can always be better.  Ever-present in our spirit should reside a desire to see people saved and living better.  Whatever we possess in our being can be used a catlyst for that to become a reality.  We start where we are, and like Jabez, ask the Lord to enlarge our territory… and then brace ourselves for the outpouring!

(pause… whoa!) … that beloved is Good News!

What U Think? ;)

Written by FAVORED1 on November 29, 2011 – 10:09 am -

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
[Philippians 4:8]

“What U Think ;)”

Good Afternoon Beloved,

This is the day that the Lord Has made, let us REJOICE and be glad in it!

There is much that happens that we have no control over, but the one that thing we can control is what we think. The Bible admonishes us to “take every thought captive“.  I have a vivid imagination.  When I think of that scripture, I see someone attempting to cross over a border, and being stopped by an agent who plays no games.   Now, if this person has legitimate business on the other side, there is no problem, but if they have nefarious plans, or are trying to circumvent the laws set in place by the proper authorities … then there is a problem, and they will be detained and deported (unless they can show just cause as to why they should be allowed to stay). Any thought that is contrary to the Word and the Will of God is an “illegal“.  It has no right to dominate the mind of a child of God.  No matter how “plausible” it may sound, weigh it against the standard of what God has said about the matter, and you will know whether to “import it” or “deport it”.  We can not allow thoughts to just run “rough-shod” all through-out our minds unbridled, wild and crazy.  Thoughts eventually become actions… actions become a lifestyle.  If we ‘think’ about what we have ‘thought’ about in the past, we can see how we arrived where we are today in our mental processes8-> day dreaming. No believer ever just wakes up one day doubting the Lord, battling depression and anxiety, feeling worthless or ashamed, bitter, angry, prideful. Those things came from someplace. If it didn’t come from the Lord, they got to go!.  Remember, the Lord’s gifts are without repentance and they are “super-awesome”.  Think on this, the Holy Spirit of God is working in us to develop delicious, nutritious fruit that will last.. fruit that we can share with others and bless nations~

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
[Galatians 5:22-23]

… and that Beloved is Good News!

TOP OF THE MOUNTAIN TO ‘YA! :)

Written by FAVORED1 on November 11, 2011 – 1:51 pm -

TOP OF THE MOUNTAIN TO ’YA! ;) winking

Good Afternoon Beloved,

Yesterday I “snatched a stat” from minister and recording artist James Forture~

“The wind blows harder at the top of the mountain!
Can you handle being on top?”

Every Sunday I, along with my brothers and sisters in Christ praise God for “what He is about to do“.  We are excited about where God is about to take us.  We are anointed, gifted, sweet and lovable.  Our hearts are surrendered to the Lord and I have no doubt that God wants to do just what He said He would do in our lives.  We should study, pray and fast, to remain “steadfast and unmovable always abounding in the work of the Lord” [1 Corinthians 15.58].  After doing what is right and staying at the foot of the cross, the fact remains that our lives will change the more attention we garner  (whether we want it or not).  Are you ready for the adulation, people asking you for autographs and pictures when you are tired, hungry and irritated.  Are you ready for all sorts of people cropping up from your past ready to cash in on their 15 minutes of fame?  Are you ready for people blogging about how “un-Christian” you are for whatever slight… real or imagined… they feel they received from you?  Are you ready for every aspect of your life to be placed under the microscope and publicly discussed from how you raise your children, to your unpolished toenails?  Are you ready for Satanic attacks from every direction?  Front line soldiers get hit first.  The kingdom of darkness will come after you if you are deemed a threat.  That creature will even disguise himself as an angel of light to get you off the path, and make you ineffective for the Kingdom of God.  The only defense is to place our life completely in the hands of Jesus.  To strive to live upright and blameless and repent for any wrongdoing on our part.  We aren’t responsible for other people, not even our children once they reach the age of legal accountability. Be free from condemnation.  Jesus came to set the captives free.  He sees every aspect of our life… and He sees where we will go.  We are being trained now, for what we will encounter later.  I’ve be blessed to be in a position where I’ve been able to watch some celebreties and how they interact with their supporters.  Some handle their popularity with humility, grace and love, others not so much.  I learn from them all… what to do and what NOT to do.  This appears to be the age of “instant stardom” even within the Body of Christ.  Actually, it only appears instant to us.  Many of the people who seem to be skyrocketing have been doing their thing for years… we just didn’t know about it.  We didn’t see them when they spending all they had putting on plays, only to have 30 people show up. We weren’t there as they faithfully directed their choir which consisted of their childhood friends.  We had no idea they existed as they preached to their family in the back hills of West Virginia.  Now, Tyler Perry, Kirk Franklin, and Bishop T.D. Jakes are household names, but it wasn’t always so.  I know this message isn’t for everybody, but I believe somebody is about to blow up! as they say.. just wanted to place this Word in your spirit so you won’t be caught totally off-guard.

Here I Am Jesus!

And the LORD God called to Adam, and said to him, Where are you?

 [Genesis 3:9]

“Here I am Jesus!”

Good Afternoon Beloved,

HAPPY FRIDAY!

Where are you?  No. I’m not talking about your physical location.  Where are you spiritually?  Do you know?  Have you stopped to think about it?  The Bible says that we are seated together with Christ in Heavenly places.  At times we need a little friendly reminder.  Hectic daily living can block our view of the Cross and the Throne.  The Cross where Jesus died for us, and the Throne where He is at this moment.  We also carry His spirit, so where He is, there we are.  To the non-believer (and some saints!) it can be confusing.  How can He be here and there?  Simple.  He is God.  That answer unsettles the analytical thinker.  They won’t believe what can’t be scientifically proven to them.  Fact and stats.  I know of some great Christian scholars who can go toe to toe with any of the “learned”. It is fascinating to watch them.  However, all the facts in the world will not convince some people of certain things.  It will all boil down to whether or not they will believe God is who He said He is, did what He said He did and whether or not they will heed what He told them to do.  Faith.  Where is our faith?  Is it in the daily news or the Word of God.  Once our foundation is shored up on the Rock of our salvation, whatever comes, we will be able to stand tall, wave our hands and say… “Here I am Jesus!  What’s next? … let’s go!”

… and that Beloved is Good News!

Holy Bible: Genuine Soul Food

Friday, October 28, 2011

But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and He that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art Mine. When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.

[Isaiah 43:1-2]

Another Year of Grace

Good Afternoon Beloved,

This beautiful promise was made to the nation of Israel.. now, you as a part of Abraham’s ingrafted seed are heir to that promise as well.  We also, have an even better convenant on top of that, guaranteed to us by our Lord Jesus purchased with His sacrifice.  Now.. insert your name in this and never forget~

But now thus says the LORD that created you, O Regina, and He that formed you, O Regina, Fear not: for I have redeemed you, I have called you by your name; you are Mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you: when you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon you.

In 21st Century venacular… “God got me“.  This weekend is very special to me.  I will be celebrating 44 years of life on Sunday.  It is exciting to me.  Many have not made it even 43 years.  I praise God for each and every year.  I heard a wonderful statement in the movie “Madea’s Big Happy Family”.. a character who was dying said, “I enjoy every day God gives me, and when I die I get to go and be with Him“.  What a beautiful view.. put’s everything in prospective doesn’t it?  We are here to show forth the glory of God.  He created us for fellowship.  He loves us.  Everything He put here is for our good and His Glory… it’s as simple and as wondrous as that.  Ever wonder how we came from one commandment “don’t eat from the tree that’s in the midst of the garden“, to Ten Commandments?  One word… sin.  Our first representatives fell, and a seed of rebellion was formed in them, and passed on to their children.  There is a God-shaped vaccum in the spirit of humanity that longs for the intimacy we once had as Adam and God talked together in the cool of the day in the garden.  There is also another seed in us that wants to live independent of the laws of God.  We have the freedom to choose which seed we will nurture and cultivate.  Some ignore their longings for God and try to fill that void with illicit sex, drugs, alcohol, work, food, activities etc.  They bypass His statutes, by declaring there is no God, or trying to revamp God into something more palatable and compliant.  A ‘god’ that will do what they say and give them everything they want, when they want it. The issue is a matter of the heart.  Oftimes, we don’t even KNOW what we want, and sometimes what we think we want, we couldn’t handle if it were given to us/:) raised eyebrows.  To have a “god” on our level is really to have no God at all.  We serve a God who is “high and lofty”.  The Word tells us that~

For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My Ways higher than your ways, and My Thoughts than your thoughts saith the LORD. [Isaiah 55:8-9]

He is above all and He is in us all.. well, those who have accepted His love gift and are blessed to be called His kids.  We have a reason to smile.  The children of God should be the most radiant people on the planet… the God of the Universe claims us as His.. and He said that NO good thing would He withhold from them who walk upright.  Many of our brothers and sisters are being tricked into sin and deceived out of their true blessing and birthright, and are living well below God’s design for their lives.  The enemy of our souls has convinced them that God is witholding all of the “good” stuff from them, when God is actually holding of the really “good” stuff FOR them!

But as it is written, eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither has entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for them that love Him.
[1 Corinthians 2:9]

THE WORD! :)

Written by FAVORED1 on October 25, 2011 – 8:17 am -

Holy Bible: Genuine Soul Food

Tuesday, October 25, 2011

But the Word is very near to  you, in your mouth, and in your heart, that you may do it. [Deuteronomy  30:14]

But what does it say? The Word is near you, even in your mouth, and in your heart: that is, the  Word of faith, which we preach;

[Romans  10:8]

Your Word is a lamp to my feet,  and a light to my path.
[Psalm  119:105]

Good Morning Beloved,
The Word of The Living God ~The Bible~ is the best selling book of the ages.  Controversial, maligned and even banned in some regions of the world.  Why?  Because it is the Word of God.  Think about it.  If you were the evil one, would you want people to know God, and the way God made for us to dwell in His presence… know His love… receive His favor? … His power? … hmmmmm….?  The goal of wickedness is to drive a wedge between us and God so wide, that we can’t see God.  That is why there is so much craziness in the world.  The Word of God already told us that~
In whom the god of this world has blinded  the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious Gospel of  Christ, who is the Image of God, should shine unto them.
[2  Corinthians 4:4]
People are blind.  Our first prayer needs to be “Lord open their eyes that they might see”.  All around us we can see that the world view many people have today is blind to the glory of God. The key to healthy vision is in revering and ingesting the Word of God.  The Word tells us to Study to show yourself approved unto God, a  workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth.” [2Timothy 2:15].  Now, can I share something with you?  I never liked to study.  The word “study” just did something to my spirit I can’t explain! LOL!  So I play a trick on my mind and I “investigate” instead of study:D big grin.  Whatever you have to do… just do it.  Get the Word of God into your spirit.  Build your foundation on the rock of Ages and you may be shaken, you may fall, but you will ALWAYS come through victorious… no matter what!  God’s Truth will never fail.  It has stood the test of time.  You can trust and depend on God.  You can know God through His Word.  You will be all that God says that you can be, have all that God says you can have, and do all that God says you can do.  Remember.. YOU CAN do ALL things through Christ who strengthens you!
… and that Beloved is Good News!

“WHAT A BLESSING!!!”

Written by FAVORED1 on September 29, 2011 – 9:28 am -

Holy Bible: Genuine Soul Food

So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them.  And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
[Genesis 1:27-28]

     “WHAT A BLESSING!!!”

Good Morning Beloved,

Its been a while huh? .. LOTS of activity going on around me.  Construction, construction everywhere.  Today is a very special day in our family… a holiday even! LOL!  It is my mom’s birthday!  YAY!   I heard something on the radio this morning that really caught my attention.  Christian Comedian Marcus D. Wiley was being his usual silly self.  In the midst of his comedy, there are always little nuggets of Truth.  He makes me laugh, but he also makes me think.  This morning was no exception.  He said something really profound.. “It’s not YO way, but YAH-WEH!”.  WOW!  That is the crux to our whole life as believers in the Jesus.. the Word of God made flesh.  Jesus is The Way, The Truth and The Life.  The sooner we learn to follow “His Way”, the better our lives will be.  Notice I did not say it would be “perfect”.  We may not always get everything we want, exactly when we want them.  We should be thankful.  How many times have we received something, only to realize it only caused more problems.  I know people who desired a certain car… until they got it, and discovered all of the hidden costs associated with owning and maintaining that vehicle.  There was nothing inherently wrong with the car, or with their desire to have the car.. it just wasn’t their ‘season’ to have that car, and it became a burden.  For someone who is un-employed or under-employed a luxury car may not be the wisest investment.  I believe God enjoys seeing His children happy, but He is  more concerned with our “holiness”, then our “happiness”.  Happiness, depends on what is going on around us, Holiness depends on what is going on “inside” of us.  Without holiness, the Bible declares, “No one will see the Lord“.  God wants to “see” us.  He wants to see us loving.  He wants to see us healed.  He wants to see us free.  He wants to see us delivered.  He wants to see us generous.  He wants to see us caring.  He wants to see us ministering.  It all starts with us ’seeing’ ourselves in a state where we know we need the Lord, seeing the answer for life in the Word of God, and accepting the gracious gift of life from the nail-scarred Hands of our beautiful Savior.  For those who have trusted in Jesus as Lord and Savior, and have determined to live upright, and haven’t ’seen’ the promise yet ~ the Bible has a Word for you…

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not
(don’t give up).   [Galatians 6:9]

I’ve got GOOD NEWS … if you abide in Jesus and His Word abides in you, you can ask what you will and it will be done for you.  Why?  Because it will be HIS WILL working through YOU!  Then all the promises of God are yours.  All things are possible to you, no good thing will God withhold from you, your eyes have not seen, your ears have not heard, neither has it entered into your heart the good things God has in store for you.  You are the head and not the tail, you are above only and not beneathe.  Every place the soles of your feet touches is blessed.  Whatever you set your hand to will prosper.  You are whole… being perfected daily, drawn to His side and seated in Heavenly places with King Jesus.  Your prayers are a sweet smelling savor in the nostrils of God.  God calls you His own treasure.

.. and that Love is Good News!~^o^~ cheer

God’s cake….
This is about the best thing
I’ve ever read as an explanation.
cid:image001.gif@01CC7139.CD7BA9D0

Sometimes we wonder,
‘What did I do to deserve this?’ or
‘Why did God have to do this to me
?’
Here is a wonderful explanation!
A daughter is telling her Mother how everything
Is going wrong
, she’s failing algebra, her boyfriend
Broke up with her and her best friend is moving away.
Meanwhile, her Mother is baking a cake and
Asks her daughter if she would like a snack, and the
Daughter says, ‘Absolutely Mom, I love your cake.’
‘Here, have some cooking oil,’ her Mother offers.
‘Yuck’ says her daughter.
‘How about a couple raw eggs?’ ‘Gross, Mom!’
‘Would you like some flour then?
Or maybe baking soda?’
‘Mom, those are all yucky!’
To which the mother replies :
‘Yes, all those things seem bad all by themselves.
But when they are put together in the
Right way, they make a wonderfully delicious cake! ‘
God works the same way. Many times we wonder why
He would let us go through such bad and difficult
Times
. But God knows that when He puts these things
All in His order, they always work for good! We just
Have to trust Him and, eventually, they will all
Make something wonderful!
God is crazy about you.

He sends you flowers every spring and
A sunrise every morning.
Whenever you want to talk, He’ll listen.
He can live anywhere in the universe,
And He chose your heart.
If you like this, send this on
To the people you really care about.
Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we are
Here we might as well dance!

“Coming Out of The F.O.G” (‘Fear of Obeying GOD’)

Written by FAVORED1 on September 12, 2011 – 10:46 am -

   Holy Bible: Genuine Soul Food

Monday, September 12, 2011

I, even I, am He that comforts you: who are you, that you should be afraid of a man that shall die, and of the son of man which shall be made as grass; And forget the LORD your maker, that has stretched forth the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth; and has feared continually every day because of the fury of the oppressor, as if he were ready to destroy? and where is the fury of the oppressor? The captive exile hastened that he may be loosed, and that he should not die in the pit, nor that his bread should fail. But I am the LORD your God, that divided the sea, whose waves roared: The LORD of hosts is His name. And I have put My Words in your mouth, and I have covered you in the shadow of My Hand, that I may plant the Heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth, and say to Zion, you are My people.

“Coming Out of The F.O.G”
(Fear of Obeying God)

For the Eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him.

[2 Chronicles 16:9]

Good Morning Beloved,

I heard the funniest story yesteday.  A preacher told of a man who had been in and out of a back-slidden state for many years.  He would fall… repent.. fall.. repent ..over and over again.  The issue.. he believed that he had heard God say He wanted him to become a missionary in China.  The poor fellow didn’t want to go.  He later said, that he believed that if he stayed out of God’s presence, he wouldn’t have to hear God tell him to go to China, and he wouldn’t feel so bad about not going.  Of course, his strategy did not work and only served to make him completely miserable.  Finally, he just couldn’t take living outside of God’s will any longer.  He fell at the altar, crying and telling God, “I’ll go to China if you want me to!”.. The Lord answered, “I never told you to go to China, I wanted you to be willing to go to China!” All of those years of running.. for absolutely nothing!  The preacher said something really simple.. but so profound.  He said that obeying God is really the BEST thing for us.  We will be our most fulfilled when we follow His instructions.  It won’t always look like the best thing for us .. to us at the time.  Remember though, that God knows us.  He knows our frame.  He knows what we’re made of.  He knows our strengths, our gifts, our talents, our temperaments.  He KNOWS us.  He knows where we “fit” best.  All we know, is what we know.  We really don’t even fully know ourselves.  C’mon.. admit it, there are things you are doing now, that you never envisioned yourself doing years ago.  I was the shy, quiet kid from junior high to high school and now you can’t shut me up!:D big grin  Well, just think of what you can accomplish next year.. next week… in the next few minutes;) winking.  No one is exempt from greatness, not as long as the Greater One lives on the inside of you.
