God’s Eyes….

Written by FAVORED1 on July 17, 2008 – 4:29 am -

Good Morning Beloved,

Finally, all of you should be of one mind. Sympathize with each other. Love each other as brothers and sisters. Be tenderhearted, and keep a humble attitude. Don’t repay evil for evil. Don’t retaliate with insults when people insult you. Instead, pay them back with a blessing. That is what God has called you to do, and he will bless you for it. For the Scriptures say, “If you want to enjoy life and see many happy days, keep your tongue from speaking evil and your lips from telling lies.  Turn away from evil and do good.  Search for peace, and work to maintain it.  The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right, and his ears are open to their prayers.  But the Lord turns his face against those who do evil. [1 Peter 3:8-12]

I love that!  Ever hear the saying, “no good deed goes unpunished”?  That is a lie.  Every good deed has its own reward.  The bible encourages us to “not be weary in well doing, for in due season, we shall reap if we don’t give up” (Galatians 6:9).  What would happen to a crop, if the farmer planted his seeds, and then the next day gave away his farm, because he did not see a harvest?  That would be crazy right?  I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior in October of 1988.  I’m still a member of the church where I received Jesus into my life.  There have been many, many, many changes over the years.  People have come and gone and come back again into my life.  Family and friends have passed away, jobs have changed, hair and clothes have changed, but one thing has remained consistent… God is right there in the midst of it all… watching.  He is not only watching, but He is constantly in motion working out situations on my behalf, and allowing me to experience a piece of His magnificence.  I have learned that the life of a Christian is not a ’sprint’… it is a long distance marathon…. a lifestyle.  Good days, not so good days… in the middle of tragedy and chaos or great triumph… I’m still a Christian… a child of God… a heir of God and a joint-heir with Jesus… I am in the words of young gospel rapper IROCC, “a blood bought, spirit taught, child of the cross”….

U Blessed

Have A Fabulous Day!

Don’t try to carry the weight of all of your problems yourself. Roll that care over on to Jesus.

FEAR NOT!

Written by FAVORED1 on June 4, 2008 – 7:40 am -

Good Morning Beloved,

Stretch out and enlarge your territory… something you’ve been meaning to do… do it.  Everywhere you look people are running scared.  Scared of the economy… scared of terrorists… scared of the government…scared of global warming… scared, scared, scared of everything.  Any wonder why God’s Word instructs us to fear not.  He knew that we would have plenty of opportunity to live in fear.  Remember He knows the end from the beginning… nothing shakes or surprises Him.  Regardless of what happens… remember the end of The Book….. WE’VE WON!  Everything we go through is strengthening us for the next leg of the journey… exercising our “spiritual muscles”…. Also, remember the saying “necessity is the mother of invention”.  There are still inventions yet to be created, children to be raised and nurtured, people to be cared for, houses and land yet to be possessed, ideas yet to come into fruition, scripts yet to be written, songs of strength yet to be released into the atmosphere.  I’m a living witness that when you’re “down to nothing… God is up to something”.  Be encouraged Beloved of God…. you’re going to make it.

Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, “Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let Your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain.” And God granted his request. (1 Chronicles 4:10)

Fret not about anything, but in everything, by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known unto God  (Philippians 4:6)

The LORD will grant that the enemies who rise up against you will be defeated before you. They will come at you from one direction but flee from you in seven (Deuteronomy 28:7)

U BLESSED!

Have A Fabulous Day

If your mind is being bombarded by fear and worry and doubt, seek the shelter of God’s peace by going to Him in prayer.
