Turn, O backsliding children, saith the LORD; for I am married unto you: and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion:

‘Lost In The House’
Good Afternoon Beloved,
Recently I’ve been an outside observer of “Christians Behaving Badly”. Now, granted, not everyone who sits in a pew is a Christian, but there are some bonified-blood bought believers who have issues. Some are as mean as a rattle-snake, others are as slick and slippery as an eel. Some are as stubborn as a mule, while others are as flighty as a bird. Everyone has ‘issues’, but the problem with these folks, is that they have made their issues, everybody elses’. Going through tough situations does not give one a free pass to run rough-shod over everybody. It is a terrible thing to be lost in the household of faith. To be in church where the Word is proclaimed, and to leave in the same state of anger and confusion. It is possible to be in a back-slidden state and attend church every Sunday. The Bible tells of those who have a “form of Godliness but deny the power thereof” (2 Timothy 3:5). Another beautiful part of God’s Character, is that He made a way of escape from that state of mind too. God said that He is “married to the backslider” (Jeremiah 3:14). When God says that He is married, it is not like some of the folks in pop culture today. It is not ’til death do us part’, because in Him there is no death. Just a passing from one life to another life. Through Jesus’ sacrifice we are eternally connected to God. If we choose to walk away from Him, He allows us that choice… but who in their right mind would want to? People all over the world are trusting in Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Millions are coming into the family of God. It is up to us to keep our hand in the God’s hand so that they can come into a loving and safe atmosphere to be taught God’s Word. A place where they can learn to love God and find out how much God loves them. A place where someone who has lost their way, can find their way back to God. The blessing is that even though God is never still, He never moved and to those who seek Him, He promises to be found by them.
…and that Beloved is Good News!
U Blessed
