He Heard You :0)

Praise the L ord , all you who fear Him! Honor Him, all you descendants of Jacob! Show Him reverence, all you descendants of Israel! For He has not ignored or belittled the suffering of the needy. He has not turned His back on them, but has listened to their cries for help.
[Psalm 22:23-24]
“He Heard You”

Good Afternoon Beloved,
Remember how they depicted the ‘grown-ups’ in “Peanuts”. Whenever an adult would talk all we would hear was “muah muah…muaah… muaaah… muaaah”. My mother used to say, “yeah I believe that’s what you hear, because you ain’t paying me no rabbit tail attention”. Some may believe that God hasn’t heard their prayer because they haven’t seen any change (or the situation seems worse). He has heard, and not in the way our children hear us when they don’t want to do something
. God hearing us means that there is an action on His part coming. That is when we exercise that ‘patience’ muscle…. ugggghhhh!…. I don’t know about you, but that is a tough one for me. I can be an impatient, “Let’s get this show on the road kinda girl!” I’m learning that the best results are not always the instantaneous fixes, but the ones that have been marinated and slow-cooked. I find I appreciate it more in the long run and I’ve learned a thing or two in the process. Doing things God’s way may seem to be like going the long way around a short barn, but He knows what He is doing and where He is taking us. He may not do it the way you want Him to do it… but when it’s done His way, it will be right.
“If you fully obey the L ord your God and carefully keep all His commands that I am giving you today, the L ord your God will set you high above all the nations of the world. [Deuteronomy 28:1]
He hears us… question is do we hear Him? When we do, there is no limit to what He will do through, with and for us.
….and that Beloved is Good News!
U Blessed!
Have A Fabulous Evening ;0)

I Hear You…
Written by FAVORED1 on September 17, 2009 – 2:01 pm -Thursday, September 17, 2009
Ever since the days of your ancestors, you have scorned My decrees and failed to obey them. Now return to Me, and I will return to you,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. “But you ask, ‘How can we return when we have never gone away?’ “Should people cheat God? Yet you have cheated Me! “But you ask, ‘What do you mean? When did we ever cheat You?’ “You have cheated Me of the tithes and offerings due to Me. You are under a curse, for your whole nation has been cheating Me. Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in My Temple. If you do,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, “I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put Me to the test! Your crops will be abundant, for I will guard them from insects and disease. Your grapes will not fall from the vine before they are ripe,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. “Then all nations will call you blessed, for your land will be such a delight,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. “You have said terrible things about Me,” says the Lord . “But you say, ‘What do you mean? What have we said against You?’ “You have said, ‘What’s the use of serving God? What have we gained by obeying His commands or by trying to show the Lord of Heaven’s Armies that we are sorry for our sins? From now on we will call the arrogant blessed. For those who do evil get rich, and those who dare God to punish them suffer no harm.’” Then those who feared the Lord spoke with each other, and the Lord listened to what they said. In His presence, a scroll of remembrance was written to record the names of those who feared Him and always thought about the honor of His name. “They will be My people,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. “On the day when I act in judgment, they will be My own special treasure. I will spare them as a father spares an obedient child. Then you will again see the difference between the righteous and the wicked, between those who serve God and those who do not.”
[Malachi 3:7-18]
“He’s Listening…”

Good Afternoon Beloved,
As my grandma used to say, “Great day in the morning!” It doesn’t get any plainer than that. One thing about God, He doesn’t beat around the bush. He is plain and direct in His instructions. You don’t need to understand Greek and Hebrew to get what He’s saying right there. Most of us have heard this scripture hundreds of times. Especially around offering time at church. What can almost be overlooked is the tone in which God is speaking to His people. Like He is talking to a small child, and does not want them to miss what He is saying. There is a slight feeling of, ‘C’mon, what is the problem, why are you making this thing harder than it has to be’. If you are a part of a local assembly, that is your storehouse. If you have a problem giving into that storehouse, you are at the wrong place. Find a place you feel comfortable giving into. There are thousands of wonderful churches who are feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, visiting the prisons, taking care of widows and orphans, educating people, etc. – doing the work of the Body of Christ (all of which is extremely costly). I believe we are to be good stewards of what God is entrusting to us and part of that is giving. Giving of our time, resources and substance. As we give, it will be given to us “pressed down, shaken together and running over”… really simple. Some say they can’t afford to give, I know from personal experience that you can’t afford not to. I find it interesting that this is the ONLY time God invites us to ‘test Him’… Now the other thing that really touches me about this passage is when God lets them know that He has heard everything they have been saying about Him. He has heard their groans, complaints and accusations against Him. What gets me is that what they were saying, sounds like some conversations I’ve heard in THIS century. I always say “people are people”. The only difference between us and the ‘bible folks’ is the time period. I picture the Father in heaven on His Holy throne with His arms folded, shaking His Head and saying, “I hear you”
. It reminds me of the times my mother would correct me for something, and I would wait until she was out of earshot to start “talking back”. Oh, you too? Remember how she would always hear you but she would ask, “What did you say!?”…and we would say, “nothing” yeah… this scripture was kinda like that
. The thing I love about God is that He doesn’t just admonish us and leave us hopeless. He builds up our spirit and lets us know that we are His… His special treasure… what an honor!
…. that Beloved is Good News!
U Blessed!
