After the death of Moses the servant of GOD , GOD spoke to Joshua, Moses’ assistant: “Moses My servant is dead. Get going. Cross this Jordan River, you and all the people. Cross to the country I’m giving to the People of Israel. I’m giving you every square inch of the land you set your foot on—just as I promised Moses. From the wilderness and this Lebanon east to the Great River, the Euphrates River—all the Hittite country—and then west to the Great Sea. It’s all yours. All your life, no one will be able to hold out against you. In the same way I was with Moses, I’ll be with you. I won’t give up on you; I won’t leave you. Strength! Courage! You are going to lead this people to inherit the land that I promised to give their ancestors. Give it everything you have, heart and soul. Make sure you carry out The Revelation that Moses commanded you, every bit of it. Don’t get off track, either left or right, so as to make sure you get to where you’re going. And don’t for a minute let this Book of The Revelation be out of mind. Ponder and meditate on it day and night, making sure you practice everything written in it. Then you’ll get where you’re going; then you’ll succeed. Haven’t I commanded you? Strength! Courage! Don’t be timid; don’t get discouraged. GOD , your GOD, is with you every step you take.”
[Joshua 1:9]

![]() Good Morning Beloved,I saw something this morning that had me on the verge of tears… Tyler Perry’s Studio. [http://www.tylerperry.com/studio/] Why does it make me so emotional? Because EVERYTHING in it is the manifestation of what I have seen in my heart for years (the only thing missing is the child care section that I will have for my cast and crew so that child care won’t be an issue.. and the kids will have a GREAT time!). Seeing that functioning studio is also a silent rebuke to me, that I have been dragging my feet on my vision. I feel like I got a cyber swat upside the head. If the national events over the past few days, (earthquakes, hurricanes, tornadoes, flooding) have said nothing else, they have spoken loudly in saying “DO IT NOW”. Stop wasting time and putting things off. Make your move. What are you afraid of? That it won’t work? So what! Try something else.. or try it another way, but don’t ever give up. All through the beginning of Joshua’s call to take up the mantle of Moses, he was instructed to ‘fear not’ and to just “do it”. We have that same assurance from that same God. The God who never changes. The God who moved so mightily throughout the Bible, He is the same God who moves mightily throughout our 21st Century world today. He speaks to us, as He spoke to Joshua. His Word declares:

The “Man” Of Our Dreams! ;)
Written by FAVORED1 on July 19, 2011 – 11:57 am -Friday, July 15, 2011
“And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of My Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions , and your old men shall dream dreams: And on My servants and on My handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy: And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke: The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come: And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the Name of the Lord shall be saved. [Acts 2:17-21]

The “Man” Of Our Dreams!

Good Afternoon Beloved,
HAPPY FRIDAY!!!
I hope you’re enjoying this beautiful day! If not, why not? Don’t allow difficult circumstances, fear, worry anger etc. to rob you of this precious gift.. now. NOW is a gift. It is what you have… do whatever you can to enjoy it and bless God for it. This morning I had the most awesome dream. The mind is an amazing thing. I was in that strange dream state where my conscious mind was fully aware of what was going on around me. As I was dreaming, what was being said on the radio (“The Yolanda Adams’ Morning Show”) was actually incorporated into my dream! The music, the topic of the day everything. Amazing! That goes to show, that we have to be careful what we listen to. I woke up with the same feelings I had in the dream.. I enjoyed it. I was doing what I love … talking to a group of people about the goodness of the Lord and His glorious Word!
Ministry comes in a forms. It is basically sharing the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The vehicle may be talking, acting, dancing, miming, any one of a number of things, but the “Source” is the same… the “Man” of our Dreams… Jesus. He is the Author and the Finisher of our faith. He told us that we would do even “greater works” than He did when He walked the earth! That blows my mind! He healed the sick, raised the dead and gave sight to the blind. He fed the multitudes, turned water into wine and multiplied one little boy’s lunch into a meal for 5,000+ hungry men, women and children! He walked on water and when His disciple cut off a fellas ear… Jesus just put it back on the man’s head! WHEW! Greater works Jesus!? WOW! I believe we are going to see wonders like never before. Deceptions? Sure. But God’s Word will stand the test of time. If God said it.. it is forever settled! Dreams are going to come to pass… Visions are going to blow our minds… and manifest in the natural. This is an exciting season we’re living in my friends. The Bible encourages us not to ”grow weary in well-doing for we shall reap if we do not lose heart”. We are living in crazy times, but it is also a time of great expectations and fulfilled promises…
… and that Beloved is Good News!
Y Stress? … U Blessed!
Have A Fabulous Day and a Wonderful Weekend

FREE!!!
Written by FAVORED1 on July 1, 2011 – 11:06 am -Friday, July 1, 2011
If the Son therefore shall make you free, you shall be free indeed.
FREE!!!

What a beautiful day! This weekend there will be celebrations everywhere. Freedom is in the air! Monday, our nation will be celebrating its 235th birthday! YAY! .. We live in a free society. Some of have abused that freedom, by living outrageous lives without much personal restraint. Freedom is priceless, but it is also a huge responsibility. Most of us don’t think much on a daily basis about the freedoms we have. We are fast moving toward a nation where “anything goes”. This is purely my opinion, but I believe that those who live in “free-thinking” societies and choose to live God-honoring lives are the most blessed. We don’t “do right” because we’re afraid we’ll be arrested or ostracized. We live to the best of our ability, and by the Spirit of Christ that lives in us to glorify our Heavenly Father. Contrary to the believe of some, the Holy Ghost will never force anyone to do anything. We want nice, neat situations. If someone does something wrong, the first thing some of the saints will say is that they were never saved in the first place. I’m here to say that it is not as easy as that. Paul said, “when I would do good, evil is always present“. That is not to say that we should live loose, immoral, unethical lives because we know God will forgive us. It should serve to let those who have stumbled know that there is forgiveness available to them. People need to know that God is not trying to see how many people He can keep OUT of Heaven, but rather how many He can get IN! God is willing that “any should perish, but that all might come to repentance“. Regardless of how WE feel about the person, or even how wicked they have been, God loves them and He wants to totally transform their lives, and bring them to His side. Once we realize what a mess we were in the Holy Eyes of God, and how precious we are to Him, we can extend that same grace to others
. Ahh… freedom. There is nothing like it. There are countries where I could not even wear my cross jewelry… it is considered contraband and illegal. I carry my little bible with me everywhere I go. I can’t do that in certain areas. I am free to love Jesus, wear t-shirts, and hats and place bumper stickers on my car if I want to. It is definitely not something I take for granted. I want to go on record saying that I love my country… warts, problems and all
. I’m glad I was born here. I appreciate the freedom I have. Democracy is a beautiful thing. Even more, I am thankful to have been born-again into the Kingdom of God. I love my Righteous Judge, Sovereign Lord and Master of All… Lord or all Lords and King of all Kings JESUS. I’m honored to have been given the chance to accept His precious gift of FREEDOM. I can choose death or life~ blessing or cursing and while it sounds like a “no-brainer”, you would be surprised how many say “no” to this great invitation. Those who have been enslaved and deceived by the enemy to believe that there is no God, He doesn’t exist, isn’t all powerful, is irrevelent or doesn’t care. Folks have been hood-winked, tricked, and bamboozeled for centuries, but as the days are getting shorter, and His appearing draws nearer, the forces of hell have “amped” up their efforts to keep people for knowing the True and Living God. True freedom is knowing and accepting Jesus… He knows what is now and what shall come in the future. We are secure when we are securely HIS!

The BEST Gift Ever Given
Written by FAVORED1 on December 23, 2010 – 12:55 pm -Thursday, December 23, 2010
For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
[Luke 2:11]
The BEST Gift Ever Given
Good Afternoon Beloved,
This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it! Now let me start off by saying, I don’t have a clue when Jesus was actually born… alls I know is.. He was born and I’m glad about that, how ’bout you!
I celebrate not that He was born on December 25th, but that He was born. God sent His love gift into the world to ransom sinful humanity back to Himself. Now some people have a problem with being called sinners. I heard one lady (who claims to have been a Christian at one time, but was enlightened by her “goddess”) lamenting on facebook that “it seemed everything was a sin“, and “that its only bad cuz we say so” and that her goddess let her do everything by “trial and error” . Sooo, alrighty then.. ummmph.. wonder how that’s working for her. (Heavy sigh) Sin is sin no matter what we call it. It has been judged by The Judge and the penalty was death. That is the significance of the “Christmas Event”. Jesus was born to die for the sins of humanity. His love is so wide you can’t get around it, so deep you can drown in it, don’t worry, if you allow Him to breathe into you, you won’t die, you’ll have new life. His love is so high you can’t get over it, just let Him pull you up to where He is so that you can see from His vantage point. Yes, I celebrate the baby that was born to a virgin, betrothed to a carpenter. I honor Him and love Him completely. God gave me a precious gift. On December 25, 1988, He gave me a beautiful little bundle of joy I named “Jah”. She has been the joy of my life. Beautiful inside and out. Precious and sweet. I would not give her life for “good” and “wonderful” people, so you know, giving her up to save scoundrels is totally out. They would just have to perish, BUT God… He sent His best, the one and only… King of all Kings, Lord of all Lords, Sovereign and Master of the Universe to be that bridge linking humanity back to Himself! Hallelujah!

(pause)… that Beloved… is Good News!
Y Stress… U Blessed!

“The Best Seller”
Written by FAVORED1 on December 10, 2010 – 11:25 am -Friday, December 9, 2010
Are we beginning to praise ourselves again? Are we like others, who need to bring you letters of recommendation, or who ask you to write such letters on their behalf? Surely not! The only letter of recommendation we need is you yourselves. Your lives are a letter written in our hearts; everyone can read it and recognize our good work among you. Clearly, you are a letter from Christ showing the result of our ministry among you. This “letter” is written not with pen and ink, but with the Spirit of the living God. It is carved not on tablets of stone, but on human hearts.
[2 Corinthians 3:1-3]
“The Best Seller”
His name is Bill. He has wild hair, wears a T-shirt with holes in it, jeans, and no shoes. This was literally his wardrobe for his entire four years of college. He is brilliant. Kind of profound and very, very bright. He became a Christian while attending college. Across the street from the campus is a well-dressed, very conservative church. They want to develop a ministry to the students but are not sure how to go about it. One day Bill decides to go there. He walks in with no shoes, jeans, hisT-shirt, and wild hair. The service has already started and so Bill starts down the aisle looking for a seat. The church is completely packed and he can’t find a seat. By now, people are really looking a bit uncomfortable, but no one says anything. Bill gets closer and closer and closer to the pulpit, and when he realizes there are no seats, he just squats down right on the carpet. By now the people are really uptight, and the tension in the air is thick. About this time, the minister realizes that from way at the
back of the church, a deacon is slowly making his way toward Bill. Now the deacon is in his eighties, has silver-gray hair, and a three-piece suit.. A godly man, very elegant, very dignified, very courtly. He walks with a cane and, as he starts walking toward this boy, everyone is saying to themselves that you can’t blame him for what he’s going to do. How can you expect a man of his age and of his background to understand some college kid on the floor? It takes a long time for the man to reach the boy. The church is utterly silent except for the clicking of the man’s cane. All eyes are focused on him.. You can’t even hear anyone breathing. The minister can’t even preach the sermon until the deacon does what he has to do. And now they see this elderly man drop his cane on the floor. Withgreat difficulty, he lowers himself and sits down next to Bill and worships with him so he won’t be alone. Everyone chokes up with emotion. When the minister gains control, he says,’What I’m about to preach, you will never remember. What you have just seen, you will never forget.’
‘Be careful how you live. You may be the only Bible some people will ever read!’
HAPPY FRIDAY!!!
Is my book good quality, or is it cheap and tawdry. Is it bound by Christ or is it bound by circumstance? Is my book aestheically pleasing, or is it a “hot mess”? Are there pages damaged or missing from my book? Have I allowed my Holy Editor-in-Chief to fix what was torn ~ His Book to transform my heart and renew my mind…hmmm… Our book won’t be finished until Jesus returns. Until then, chapters are constantly being written, rewritten, revised and updated… even through the editing process, the great mystery is that we are still “Best Sellers”
.

… and Jesus said… go get ‘em! :)
Written by FAVORED1 on November 18, 2010 – 12:31 pm -Thursday, November 18, 2010
And Jesus said to them, Come after Me, and I will make you to become fishers of men.
… and Jesus said… go get ‘em!
) Some downplay what they have because it isn’t as “shiny” as what someone else may have. I’ve heard people compliment me, and as I let them know what I admire about them, they say, “Yeah but.. “ ahhhh… “but“… such a large obstacle in such a tiny word. Holding onto a “but” in our life can cause us to miss out on great blessings and opportunities. There are people I know who are gifted and talented. The have great testimonies that people need to hear, and yet their “but” is in the way. People are dying and in need of a word from the Lord. Everybody won’t receive from everybody, but everybody will receive from SOMEBODY! My blessed Somebody
, let that be you. Use everything you have to the glory and honor of our wonderful Father. He has done, is doing and will continue to do amazing things in this earth. The Word asks, “when He comes, will He find faith on the earth?” (Luke 18:8) .. Somebody who will get up off of the ‘but’ and just ‘be’. Be that friend. Be that dependable hard-working, employee/boss. Be that virtuous woman. Be that honorable man. Be that faithful Christian. Be that loving parent. Be that respectful child. Be that sweet, but no-nonsense relative. Be that courteous driver. Be that good wife. Be that wonderful husband. Be that good citizen. Be the kind, generous, caring, creative wonderful person that God created you to be, and your ministry will flow out of the gifts and talents that are already in you. “Balm In Gilead”, Karen Clark Sheard

The Best Is Yet To Come!
Written by FAVORED1 on September 29, 2010 – 8:30 am -Wednesday, September 29, 2010
But you shall be named the Priests of the LORD: men shall call you the Ministers of our God: you shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, and in their glory shall you boast yourselves. For your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them.
[Isaiah 61:6-7]
“The Best Is Yet To Come”
Good Morning Beloved,
There is an awesome story attached to the humble house pictured above. It is where my mother, “Ma Howard” as she is affectionately called by most everybody, grew up. She was adopted by a woman, also named ‘Elnora’, who believed the sun rose and set on her
. My mother was loved and cherished. So much so that she never even realized how poor they really were. The child who grew up in that house went on to leave the country and make her home in a strange city. She went to college, got her degree, and began her career in the Federal Government. In the midst of challenges, setbacks, single motherhood, work, school… life.. she blossomed into a warm, loving, generous and compassionate lady. Everyone around her can attest to her caring nature. She has done much in secret, and her Heavenly Father is rewarding her openly. All she does is for His glory. That’s the key. God sees not as man sees… God sees the heart. He knows our motives, thoughts and intents. The favor of the Lord on our life will bless our life for the rest of our life. It is a blessing to have loved ones–family and friends. It is a blessing to have shelter, food, clothes. Everything we have is by the grace and Hand of God. The Bible says that man is like a vapor, here then gone… what are we doing with the time we have? We can never get so busy, that we forget to thank God for all that He has given us. We can never get so busy that we forget to thank the people that we have in our life. To let them know, while they can still hear us how much they mean to us. I love my Mama! I thank God for the Christ in her. She is a lovely lady inside and out and that is a blessing from God. I trust and believe that what rings true for her is true for you also… the BEST is yet to come!
… and that Beloved is Good News!

I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both you and your seed may live. [Deuteronomy 30:19]

God’s Grace In The Midst Of Disgrace…
Written by FAVORED1 on April 20, 2010 – 3:25 pm -Tuesday & Wednesday, April 20 & 21, 2010
To me, the very least of all saints, this grace was given, to preach to the Gentiles the unfathomable riches of Christ, and to bring to light what is the administration of the mystery which for ages has been hidden in God who created all things; so that the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known through the church to the rulers and the authorities in the heavenly places. This was in accordance with the eternal purpose which He carried out in Christ Jesus our Lord, in whom we have boldness and confident access through faith in Him
[Ephesians 3:8-12]
God’s Grace In The Midst Of Disgrace…
Good Afternoon Beloved,
God is so good!… I just wish I could shout it from the rooftops! LOL!… He is really showing Himself… to those who choose to see Him!
Recent news has been abysmal! Just when you think people can’t sink any lower, they do. Attacking a national day of prayer? Ummm… hello? With earthquakes occurring in strange places, tsunamis, black volcanic ashe covering cities, school bullying on the rise, wars, and rumors of wars, rising cost of living, unemployment numbers through the roof, domestic violence increasing, racism, sexism, class-ism, age-ism..etc.. etc.. do you really think this is a good time to try and stop prayer?! .. It’s impossible to stop, but when a nation decides to corporately step from under the protection of the living God woe to that nation. The good news is that the people who love God will still find His favor. He is able to bless them, even as the other segment undergoes judgment.. remember the children of Israel. He protected them even as he pronouced judgment on Pharoah and his kingdom. God is undaunted by those who hate Him. He told us that they would. He also told us that they would hate us! Ouch! Nobody wants to be hated, but those who think they rule their own destiny, are offended by a God who lets them know that they really don’t. They are appeased for a minute by their own intellect and rhetoric, but when they come to the end of themselves, they find themselves in serious trouble. What happens when they come to a place where none of man’s earthly ‘wisdom’ can help them? What happens when the doctor says, “sorry there is no cure”? What happens when that person that they’ve made their God leaves? Where do they, who have tried to banish God from a planet that belongs to Him.. where do they go? It is heartbreaking to watch someone self-destruct, but sometimes in order for them to come to their senses it is necessary. Our assignment is to love the “he double hockey sticks” out of them
! That was the Apostle Paul’s mission as well. He was sent to minister to a tough group. He suffered… a lot, but look at the fruit of his labor! He finished his course and kept the faith and his life shows us that it is possible for us to finish our assignment as well… and not just finish, but to be the victors and hear those words, “Well done good and faithful servant … enter into the joy of your Lord” …
… and that Beloved is Good News!
Y Stress? … U Blessed!

I Love It When You Show Yourself!
Written by FAVORED1 on April 14, 2010 – 1:48 pm -Wednesday, April 14, 2010
Let my cry come right into Your presence, God; provide me with the insight that comes only from Your Word. Give my request Your personal attention, rescue me on the terms of Your promise. Let praise cascade off my lips; after all, You’ve taught me the truth about life! And let Your promises ring from my tongue; every order You’ve given is right. Put Your hand out and steady me since I’ve chosen to live by Your counsel. I’m homesick, God, for Your salvation; I love it when You show yourself! Invigorate my soul so I can praise You well, use Your decrees to put iron in my soul. And should I wander off like a lost sheep—seek me! I’ll recognize the sound of Your voice.
[Psalm 119:169 The Message Bible]
”I love It When You Show Yourself!”
Good Afternoon Beloved,
Ever had a scripture just leap off the page and literally dance in your spirit! That is how I felt about Psalm 119:169. You know, for some reason I’ve had an influx of young folks come into my life this year. Half of my Facebook ‘friends’ are young folks that I have worked with in drama ministry. As I checked my Facebook page this morning, I was overwhelmed with the drama in their lives. My heart ached as I read their status updates of lost loves, depression bordering on suicidal thoughts, anger, frustration, insecurity and strange ideologies. It was not one particular kid, but several. Some may chuck it off to “Spring Fever”, but I know that it is something far more sinister going on. The immortal battle between the Kingdom of God and the kingdom of darkness for the souls of humanity. War in the heavenlies has been declared on our most vulnerable citizens… the children. They are so open and easily influenced. Whoever holds the key to their heart, will undoubtedly wield the greatest power of influence over their lives. Their ears will be open and attentive to those voices, and voices of reason will dim… BUT GOD! He is so much bigger then the adversary… His power greater, but He has given all of us the power of choice and He will not take that choice away… but He will interfere. He won’t let go without a fight. His love for us is tenacious. As long as there is breath in a person’s body, no matter how far away from Him they seem… they have a chance. When people insult God, I suspect we get angrier than He does. He knows more about the situation than we do. He sees the grip that the evil one has on them and He is full of compassion for them. Although He loves them, He will allow them to go to hell if that is where they really want to go. This verse infuses my heart with light and the love of my God, that He will seek after me when I stray, and He is no respecter of persons… He will seek our seed as well!

In The Image Of … Who?
Written by FAVORED1 on February 3, 2010 – 4:07 pm -Wednesday, February 3, 2010
Then said He unto me, son of man, hast thou seen what the ancients of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in the chambers of his imagery? for they say, the LORD seeth us not; the LORD hath forsaken the earth.
[Ezekiel 8:12]

So God created man in His own image, in the image of GOD created He him; male and female created He them.
[Genesis 1:27]
In The Image Of … Who?
Good Afternoon Beloved,
God made us… so He knows us. He knows all of our thoughts, our imaginations, our secrets, our motivations. That is both scary and wonderful. Ever stop to think about what God sees in the course of a day. The death, destruction, debauchery and decay, in the midst of the beauty, innocence, goodness and love. The faithful among those who twist and pervert His Word at every turn. Those who would create God in their own image, instead of recognizing that we were made in HIS image. That thought is stuck in my heart. God has made it so easy to know Him. He has placed His own Spirit within us so that we can become more like Him, and He gave us His Holy Word that we can learn of Him. The more we learn, the more assurance we should have. I say “should have” because I know that there are people who have spent countless hours in bible study, only to still lead lives of confusion and self-destruction. We need to have something else. The Bible says that:
For unto us was the Gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the Word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it. [Hebrews 4:2]
Faith is something we all have. We were all given a measure of faith by our God. Even those who refuse to acknowledge Jesus as Lord of their lives have faith in something. When our faith is focused, things begin to happen. As a side note… do you realize that fear is actually faith in reverse. Trusting and believing in the negative. We need to take inventory of everything we’re afraid of… everything we’re afraid to do, and get to the root of what the problem is. I used to be afraid to speak in public. An unexpected benefit of working in theater ministry is that it completely killed that fear. The root of my fear, was a fear of looking crazy or saying something foolish. I was afraid I would fall or embarrass myself… I have experienced ALL of the above, so now… no worries
! I have several friends who have started various ministries. All of them have the same things in common. They all love God with all of their hearts, and they are all working toward their vision. They are not sitting around, waiting for something to happen. They are filing corporation papers, installing officers in their companies, producing Gospel Stage plays, writing books, etc. etc. They are doing the “work” of the ministry. They are all praying and seeking God for direction. They are all “waiting” on the Lord, but they are not idle. They have put their hands to the plow and are working in the vineyard. Their Father in Heaven who made them in His image, sees their labor of love, that for many of them, goes unnoticed by people. He sees and He will reward them openly, because He sees Himself in them… you too.
