But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and He that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art Mine. When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.

[Isaiah 43:1-2]

Another Year of Grace

Good Afternoon Beloved,

This beautiful promise was made to the nation of Israel.. now, you as a part of Abraham’s ingrafted seed are heir to that promise as well.  We also, have an even better convenant on top of that, guaranteed to us by our Lord Jesus purchased with His sacrifice.  Now.. insert your name in this and never forget~

But now thus says the LORD that created you, O Regina, and He that formed you, O Regina, Fear not: for I have redeemed you, I have called you by your name; you are Mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you: when you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon you.

In 21st Century venacular… “God got me“.  This weekend is very special to me.  I will be celebrating 44 years of life on Sunday.  It is exciting to me.  Many have not made it even 43 years.  I praise God for each and every year.  I heard a wonderful statement in the movie “Madea’s Big Happy Family”.. a character who was dying said, “I enjoy every day God gives me, and when I die I get to go and be with Him“.  What a beautiful view.. put’s everything in prospective doesn’t it?  We are here to show forth the glory of God.  He created us for fellowship.  He loves us.  Everything He put here is for our good and His Glory… it’s as simple and as wondrous as that.  Ever wonder how we came from one commandment “don’t eat from the tree that’s in the midst of the garden“, to Ten Commandments?  One word… sin.  Our first representatives fell, and a seed of rebellion was formed in them, and passed on to their children.  There is a God-shaped vaccum in the spirit of humanity that longs for the intimacy we once had as Adam and God talked together in the cool of the day in the garden.  There is also another seed in us that wants to live independent of the laws of God.  We have the freedom to choose which seed we will nurture and cultivate.  Some ignore their longings for God and try to fill that void with illicit sex, drugs, alcohol, work, food, activities etc.  They bypass His statutes, by declaring there is no God, or trying to revamp God into something more palatable and compliant.  A ‘god’ that will do what they say and give them everything they want, when they want it. The issue is a matter of the heart.  Oftimes, we don’t even KNOW what we want, and sometimes what we think we want, we couldn’t handle if it were given to us/:) raised eyebrows.  To have a “god” on our level is really to have no God at all.  We serve a God who is “high and lofty”.  The Word tells us that~

For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My Ways higher than your ways, and My Thoughts than your thoughts saith the LORD. [Isaiah 55:8-9]

He is above all and He is in us all.. well, those who have accepted His love gift and are blessed to be called His kids.  We have a reason to smile.  The children of God should be the most radiant people on the planet… the God of the Universe claims us as His.. and He said that NO good thing would He withhold from them who walk upright.  Many of our brothers and sisters are being tricked into sin and deceived out of their true blessing and birthright, and are living well below God’s design for their lives.  The enemy of our souls has convinced them that God is witholding all of the “good” stuff from them, when God is actually holding of the really “good” stuff FOR them!

But as it is written, eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither has entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for them that love Him.
[1 Corinthians 2:9]

… and that beloved is Good News!

Have A fabulous Day

“WHAT A BLESSING!!!”

Written by FAVORED1 on September 29, 2011 – 9:28 am -

Holy Bible: Genuine Soul Food

Thursday, September 29, 2011

So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them.  And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
[Genesis 1:27-28]

     “WHAT A BLESSING!!!”

Good Morning Beloved,

Its been a while huh? .. LOTS of activity going on around me.  Construction, construction everywhere.  Today is a very special day in our family… a holiday even! LOL!  It is my mom’s birthday!  YAY!   I heard something on the radio this morning that really caught my attention.  Christian Comedian Marcus D. Wiley was being his usual silly self.  In the midst of his comedy, there are always little nuggets of Truth.  He makes me laugh, but he also makes me think.  This morning was no exception.  He said something really profound.. “It’s not YO way, but YAH-WEH!”.  WOW!  That is the crux to our whole life as believers in the Jesus.. the Word of God made flesh.  Jesus is The Way, The Truth and The Life.  The sooner we learn to follow “His Way”, the better our lives will be.  Notice I did not say it would be “perfect”.  We may not always get everything we want, exactly when we want them.  We should be thankful.  How many times have we received something, only to realize it only caused more problems.  I know people who desired a certain car… until they got it, and discovered all of the hidden costs associated with owning and maintaining that vehicle.  There was nothing inherently wrong with the car, or with their desire to have the car.. it just wasn’t their ‘season’ to have that car, and it became a burden.  For someone who is un-employed or under-employed a luxury car may not be the wisest investment.  I believe God enjoys seeing His children happy, but He is  more concerned with our “holiness”, then our “happiness”.  Happiness, depends on what is going on around us, Holiness depends on what is going on “inside” of us.  Without holiness, the Bible declares, “No one will see the Lord“.  God wants to “see” us.  He wants to see us loving.  He wants to see us healed.  He wants to see us free.  He wants to see us delivered.  He wants to see us generous.  He wants to see us caring.  He wants to see us ministering.  It all starts with us ’seeing’ ourselves in a state where we know we need the Lord, seeing the answer for life in the Word of God, and accepting the gracious gift of life from the nail-scarred Hands of our beautiful Savior.  For those who have trusted in Jesus as Lord and Savior, and have determined to live upright, and haven’t ’seen’ the promise yet ~ the Bible has a Word for you…

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not
(don’t give up).   [Galatians 6:9]

I’ve got GOOD NEWS … if you abide in Jesus and His Word abides in you, you can ask what you will and it will be done for you.  Why?  Because it will be HIS WILL working through YOU!  Then all the promises of God are yours.  All things are possible to you, no good thing will God withhold from you, your eyes have not seen, your ears have not heard, neither has it entered into your heart the good things God has in store for you.  You are the head and not the tail, you are above only and not beneathe.  Every place the soles of your feet touches is blessed.  Whatever you set your hand to will prosper.  You are whole… being perfected daily, drawn to His side and seated in Heavenly places with King Jesus.  Your prayers are a sweet smelling savor in the nostrils of God.  God calls you His own treasure.

.. and that Love is Good News!~^o^~ cheer

God’s cake….
This is about the best thing
I’ve ever read as an explanation.
cid:image001.gif@01CC7139.CD7BA9D0

Sometimes we wonder,
‘What did I do to deserve this?’ or
‘Why did God have to do this to me
?’
Here is a wonderful explanation!
A daughter is telling her Mother how everything
Is going wrong
, she’s failing algebra, her boyfriend
Broke up with her and her best friend is moving away.
Meanwhile, her Mother is baking a cake and
Asks her daughter if she would like a snack, and the
Daughter says, ‘Absolutely Mom, I love your cake.’
‘Here, have some cooking oil,’ her Mother offers.
‘Yuck’ says her daughter.
‘How about a couple raw eggs?’ ‘Gross, Mom!’
‘Would you like some flour then?
Or maybe baking soda?’
‘Mom, those are all yucky!’
To which the mother replies :
‘Yes, all those things seem bad all by themselves.
But when they are put together in the
Right way, they make a wonderfully delicious cake! ‘
God works the same way. Many times we wonder why
He would let us go through such bad and difficult
Times
. But God knows that when He puts these things
All in His order, they always work for good! We just
Have to trust Him and, eventually, they will all
Make something wonderful!
God is crazy about you.

He sends you flowers every spring and
A sunrise every morning.
Whenever you want to talk, He’ll listen.
He can live anywhere in the universe,
And He chose your heart.
If you like this, send this on
To the people you really care about.
Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we are
Here we might as well dance!

MySpaceGraphicsandAnimations.orgHAPPY MONDAY!!! ~SMILE~

In honor and celebration of Father’s Day.  I thought I would take this week to bless and encourage the fathers.  In order to do that, I have to start at the very beginning.  The Father of all fathers.  Our Heavenly Father.  Sovereign Ruler of Heaven and Earth.  The Great I AM.  El Shaddai, the All-Sufficient One. The Great God Jehovah.  His many names abound but we have the great privilege of calling Him “Father” in addition to all the rest.  He created ‘Adam’ and breathed the breath of life into him, thus becoming his ‘Father’.  He formed him with his own Hands and stood him up in his Holy presence and breathed INTO him.  He released a piece of His very own power into this creature, and gave him authority over this earth realm.  He gave him a great mind, with instructions for him to use it.  He gave him the task of tending to the garden and naming every animal in it.  Experts tell us that we only use about 10% of our brain… I believe Adam used all of his.  He would have to complete such a daunting task.  Adam was in essence ‘King’ of the world… and then God gave him his ‘Queen’ Eve.  Together the two of them, in concert with the King of all Kings ruled this earth in peace and harmony, until a jealous enemy entered in, deceived them both, causing them to lose their happy home.  Still, their Father watched over them.  He never stopped loving them, and He had already worked out a plan for their return back to into His presence.  Life for them changed… drastically.  Suddenly they knew pain, toil, sweat, hardship.. even heartbreak.  The first murder.. their first-born son, Cain kills their second-born son Abel.  The one they had so much hope in, crushed them to the core.  Sounds like us sometimes.  Things don’t always go the way we hope, or believe they are going to.  That is when trust kicks in.  We have to trust that our Father God sees all and He has already worked it out for our good.  It’s all good.  Does it seem good? Maybe not.  Does it feel good.. probably not… but it WILL work out FOR our good.  A job loss doesn’t feel good, but the new job with better benefits and a higher salary will feel mighty fine.  Trust your Holy Daddy.  Some may have had a poor example of a father, so trusting God as father may be a little difficult.  Take heart… God knows.  He knows what you’ve been through and He knows what you need.  He is processing you and when you come through, you will be as pure gold refined in the refiners fire.  You will be stronger, better, holier, filled with peace, joy and the love of God.  Your confidence will not be in what you can do, but what He has already done.  You will claim what is yours without fear. you will know who you are… a child of the Most High God.

… and that Beloved in Good News!

U Blessed~

Call ME.

The LORD is near to all them that call upon Him, to all that call upon Him in truth.  He will fulfill the desire of them that fear Him: He also will hear their cry, and will save them.  [Psalm 145:18-19]

“Call ME”

Good Morning Beloved,

HAPPY FRIDAY!!!!

Sometimes the simplest truths are the most profound.  With so much swirling around us, we can forget our staunchest ally and our closest friend… Jesus.  Didn’t He say He would “never leave nor forsake us“?  He is that Friend that “sticketh closer than a brother“.  He our Rock.  We can lean on Him.  He will never break under pressure.. pressure has to bow before His Holiness.  There is no “thing” on earth that can separate us from the love of God.  Even if we walk away from Him, His position never changed.  Call Him.  During our good days we should call Him… to thank Him for them.  During our not-so good days we should call Him.. praising Him in advance for the way through.  Know that He will sustain us, no matter what is happening.  Sometimes we can get overwhelmed by GOOD STUFF!  So many blessings coming so fast, I believe the Bible calls that being “overtaken by blessings“.  Don’t laugh.  When what we’ve prayed for suddenly shows up, sometimes we don’t know what to DO with it.  We question it.  “Is this really God or is the enemy trying to trick me”.  Ever notice some of the greatest miracles occur in our life when we feel we deserve them the least?  Maybe we’ve fallen short in an area, or have been lacking in something.  We may not have prayed like we felt we should.. read our Bible like we know we should.. fasted.. witnessed or encouraged anybody… led a soul to our beautiful Savior.  Our hearts and other people condemn us, when we’ve “walked after the flesh”.  God’s solution is simple ~ walk after the Spirit.  There… problem solved.. NO condemnation.  Sounds good Regina, how do we do that?  There is no easy answer.  Moment by moment decisions for righteousness, quick repentance when we fall short.  God’s grace is sufficient for whatever is going on in our lives.  Every moment we are presented with choices.. to do right or to do wrong.  Sometimes, the waters are a little murky.  The thing may not be inherently wrong, just not right for us.  One person may be able to drink a glass of wine, but for the person who struggled with alcoholism, it may not be a good idea.  The Holy Spirit who dwells in us is our guide, to lead us in the way we should go.  He is our enabler that gives us the strength to do what is right.  He is our teacher that gives us the knowledge we need to navigate through the sea of life.  He is our comforter, that rises up in our spirit and applies a soothing balm to our soul after we have “blown it’ big time, or our heart is broken.  Call Him.  Jesus said that He will answer us when we call.

… and that Beloved is GOOD NEWS!

…Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.

Good Morning Beloved,

We love God because He loved us first and because He loves us… we can love others.  When we were born-again we received a new nature.  A capacity for love, forgiveness, truth, joy that we never had before.  How do you explain the person who can pray for the person who murdered their child?  How do you explain the person who has been lied to and cheated on and still has the ability to forgive the offender?  How do you explain the person who was accused of a crime they did not commit, spent 30 years in prison and can forgive the accuser?  Only one explanation.  These people have been infused with the love of God shed abroad in their hearts.  Forgiveness is more an act of the will, then a “feeling”.  You may still “feel” anger, remorse, hurt, disgust, but we shouldn’t live by our “feelings” and let them rule over us.  Now, those situations are extreme.. but we serve an extra-ordinary God, who has promised to supply ALL of our need according to His riches in Glory by Christ Jesus.  God is rich in grace, rich in mercy, rich in forgiveness, rich in joy, rich in peace, rich in wisdom and He owns … ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING!  Not only is He RICH, but He is generous.  All we need, we need but ask!  What an awesome God!  His desire is that we be who He created us to be, and end up looking like Jesus.  I believe we bless the heart of God, when we imitate Him.  God does not smile on ever thing humanity does, but He loves humanity.  When we show love to those who cross our path, we are demonstrating divinity.  “Jesus Love” is a powerful thing, because sin is a monster, but that kinda love can cover it, even as Jesus can dispatch it!  .. picture a huge, ugly creature, deadly and relentless, covered by a blanket of love, as a sword-wielding Jesus cuts its head off! Remember His Words on the cross… “IT IS FINISHED!” … well… sin no longer has power over our lives.. unless we give up our power and authority.  Love on somebody today.  Somebody needs what you have! …

wowee.. pause… and that Beloved is Good News!

WOW!

“The LORD your God is in your midst, A victorious warrior He will exult over you with joy, He will be quiet in His love, He will rejoice over you with shouts of joy.

 [Zephaniah 3:17]

“WOW!”

Good Morning Beloved,

When we think of all that He is and all that He has done it’s enough to make you ….

DANCE!!!!!
This morning, I’ve been listening to a song by Lejeune Thompson “Lost Without You”.. my God .. what a song!  When I think of all my Lord Jesus sacrificed.. I am almost speechless.. and that is saying a lot (insider).  The Son of God came to seek and to save that which was lost~you.. and me.  If we were the only humans on earth that would accept His love gift, He would have done it anyway.  One person is so valuable in the economy of Heaven that scripture says:

I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in Heaven over one sinner that repents, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.
[Luke 15:7]

Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repents.

[Luke 15:10]

… pause … WOW!  Last night, I attended a stage play “What Will It Take”, produced by Dennis Jones, “While Its Day Drama Company” [http://www.wix.com/whileitsday/this-is-it]. My family teases me because whenever I can see it, I do. I’ve probably seen it 4 or 5 times now.  I never get tired of it.  The production is great.  The cast and crew are phenomenal, the script well written, the set is beautiful, but what blesses me most is the anointing that is on the message.  I was awed by the sight of an altar full of predominantly young people who heard the heart-cry of our Lord and Savior… “WHAT WILL IT TAKE!” … What more does He have to do to prove His love?  How many times does He have to “bring us out” for us to fin anally trust Him completely (Regina!).  When I read Zephaniah, it shows me a different view of God.  The “mighty Warrior”, strong and loving.  Our culture has a tendency to think one has to be “either” “or”.  God is both.. balance.  No He doesn’t “wink” at sinful activity, but He is not quick to throw us away either.  He is ready, willing and able to forgive us if we but ask.  He has invested far too much into us to let us go easily.  The cost… The very Blood of Jesus.. In Blood and water, the Church was born, as a baby in the natural is born of blood and water.  Any real mother will tell you, that even though the child-bearing process was painful, and messy, the child is worth it.  When she looks at that little face and starts singing, no one finds that odd.  Why are you singing over that little thing? … Didn’t it just cause you tremendous discomfort and aggravation.. agony even? (without meds.. Praise God for meds!) Well, in my heart I can see our God doing the same.  In spite of the trouble humanity has caused over the centuries, Jesus looks at His nail-scarred hands and His pierced side, and wonder of wonders.. God still sings!

Like the auto collector and restorer in the cartoon, Jesus sees great value in people – even people with broken, damaged lives – so much so that He paid a high price to buy them back from Satan: His life. Jesus can heal and restore the life of anyone who puts their faith and trust in Him.

It’s All About Love

And JESUS answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The LORD our GOD is one LORD:  And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength: this is the first commandment.  And the second is like, namely this, You shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

[Mark 12:29-31]

It’s All About Love

Good Morning Beloved!

Happy Monday!!!MySpaceGraphicsandAnimations.org

Awwwwwwww… Valentine’s Day.  Y’all knew I was gonna do it! LOL!  This day has many supposed origins.  I like this one best:
Some experts state that it originated from St. Valentine, a Roman who was martyred for refusing to give up Christianity. He died on February 14, 269 A.D., the same day that had been devoted to love lotteries. Legend also says that St. Valentine left a farewell note for the jailer’s daughter, who had become his friend, and signed it “From Your Valentine”. Other aspects of the story say that Saint Valentine served as a priest at the temple during the reign of Emperor Claudius. Claudius then had Valentine jailed for defying him. In 496 A.D. Pope Gelasius set aside February 14 to honour St. Valentine… Under the rule of Emperor Claudius II Rome was involved in many bloody and unpopular campaigns. Claudius the Cruel was having a difficult time getting soldiers to join his military leagues. He believed that the reason was that Roman men did not want to leave their loves or families. As a result, Claudius cancelled all marriages and engagements in Rome. The good Saint Valentine was a priest at Rome in the days of Claudius II. He and Saint Marius aided the Christian martyrs and secretly married couples, and for this kind deed Saint Valentine was apprehended and dragged before the Prefect of Rome, who condemned him to be beaten to death with clubs and to have his head cut off….
Wow!  I love the many facets of .. love..  The greatest love of course is the love God has for us.  I don’t think we’ll ever fully understand that love until we see Him face to Face.  Then there is the love we have for one another. The Bible says ~

If I could speak all the languages of earth and of angels, but didn’t love others, I would only be a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. If I had the gift of prophecy, and if I understood all of GOD’s secret plans and possessed all knowledge, and if I had such faith that I could move mountains, but didn’t love others, I would be nothing. If I gave everything I have to the poor and even sacrificed my body, I could boast about it; but if I didn’t love others, I would have gained nothing. Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance. Prophecy and speaking in unknown languages and special knowledge will become useless. But love will last forever! Now our knowledge is partial and incomplete, and even the gift of prophecy reveals only part of the whole picture! But when full understanding comes, these partial things will become useless. When I was a child, I spoke and thought and reasoned as a child. But when I grew up, I put away childish things. Now we see things imperfectly as in a cloudy mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity.  All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as GOD now knows me completely. Three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love.

[1 Corinthians 13:1-13]

And… there is that romantic love between a man and woman.  There are those who dislike this day for the same reason many dislike the Christmas Holiday.  They feel it is all commercialization and hype.  Folks say, “well, if you don’t know I love you 364 days a year, one day won’t make a difference”.  Well, I’d like to go on record saying that I’m a hopeless romantic, who happens to be single (at the moment) and I LOVE Valentine’s Day.  I’ve watched my co-workers beam this morning when I wished them a “Happy Valentine’s Day”.  It is Monday, and everybody has an extra little spring in their step this morning.  No groggy “good mornings”.  So, a day that celebrates love, and makes people smile and feel special is OK in my book.  Should you make folks feel special every day? .. absolutely.  However, I’ve noticed that when a day is global, something shifts in the atmosphere.. so enjoy this day.  If you have a “Boo” or a “Sweetheart” .. be extra sweet to them.  If you don’t have one yet, know that you are loved beyond your comprehension by a King. You are loved by your family.. you are loved by your friends… and you are loved by ME!  HUGZ!!!!

Love Is the Greatest!

…and what’s so nice is that~

… and it IS so! …

God is not a man, that He should lie; neither the son of man, that He should repent: has He said, and shall He not do it? or has He spoken, and shall He not make it good?
[Numbers 23:19]

…. AND IT IS SO…

Good Afternoon Beloved,

Happy Friday!  I hope your Thanksgiving Day was as beautiful and memorable as mine.  Number 23:19 is a really strong statement.  If God said it.. it is so.  No matter what it may look like to the natural eye.  No matter what is going on in the economy.  No matter our age or affliction. If He said it, then it shall come to pass.  Period.  End of discussion.  The only dilemma I’ve had is determining if He said, I said it or somebody else said it.  Once I am confident that it was indeed the Lord’s will, I realize that it is a done deal.  Even when it does not make sense to my “senses”.. I have to remember He said, “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways… (Isaiah 55:8).  In His Word, He made promises to His beloved.  He promised that we would be the “head and not the tail”… “above only and not beneath”  (Deuteronomy 28:13), “the lender and not the borrower”  (Deuteronomy 28:44).  He said He would “never leave nor forsake us” (Hebrews 13:5), and that the “people that do know their God shall be strong and will do exploits”  (Daniel 11:32).  He promised “that no good thing will He withhold from those who walk upright” (Psalm 84:11).  He never promised that we would never endure hardship.  As a matter of fact, we are admonished to “endure hardship as a good soldier”  (2 Timothy 2:10).  His Word is solid.  It is not like the word of a fallible human being.  Some folks mean well, but they are not all powerful, sovereign, or omnipotent. I’ve heard it said that many people judge God, based on the relationship they had with their earthly father. If that man was untruthful and untrust-worthy, they translate that over into their walk with God.  They will not give God their heart completely, because they are afraid they will be disappointed and hurt like they were with their natural father.  That can never happen.  Yes, we can be disappointed when we attach something to God that He never promised.  If we misinterpret His Word, that is not on Him.. it is on us.  God is so wonderful that He says “come, let us reason together” (Isaiah 1:18).  Let’s talk about this God is saying.  Let’s get this situation together.  Let Me recalibrate your heart, mind, will and emotions so that we’re on the same page.

My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me: And I give to them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of My Hand.
[John 10:27-28]

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.[Jeremiah 29:11]

PERFECT LOVE.

Written by FAVORED1 on September 28, 2010 – 6:31 am -

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear: because fear has torment. He that fears is not made perfect in love.

[1 John 4:18]

“Perfect Love”

Good Morning Beloved,

I woke up with a “this is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it”, in my spirit!  I’ve determined to commit this day into the care and keeping of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  I resolve to listen to what He’s already said and observe to do all that is written in His commands. I can only do that by His Spirit in humble submission to His will for my life.  My way will be made prosperous and I will have good success (yeah.. I’m still feeling that from yesterday!).  Nothing can possibly happen today that will escape His notice or His care.  His plan is settled in the Heavens.  His ways are not my way, nor are His thoughts my thoughts. The assignment He has for me is for me.  He could use anyone, but He chooses to use me and I glad about that. My perspective on life is changing as I shed off unnecessary baggage and put on the attributes of Christ.  Every day I’m learning something new.  Everyday I’m seeing something with a fresh new set of eyes.  His way is not just “right”… it’s “better” (thank you Tye Tribbett!).  He loves us with a perfect love.  A love that is not based on what we have or what we can do.  It is simply based on “whose we are”.  We were created in the image and after the likeness of God.  He made us.  When we make something, we feel a special attachment to the thing that we made.  When I was in Junior High school, I made a black and white dog pillow.  I sewed it by hand because I was afraid of the sewing machine.  I was afraid I would sew my fingers.  The stitches are crooked and it looks kinda funny, but do you know my mother still has that pillow on her bed!  Why?  Because I made it.  I have given her countless teddy bears and stuffies over the years. Valentines Day, Christmas, birthdays… but she still holds on to that pitiful looking dog.  This world is literally a cauldron of fear.  Whether we know it or not we are bombarded by fear on a daily basis.  Fear of lack, fear of our neighbors, fear that our co-workers are going to go slap crazy and shoot up the workplace.  Fear that our children won’t be successful.  Fear that they will be left out because they don’t have the latest and the greatest new whatever the ads are trying to sell us.  Fear of growing older.. going gray… getting wrinkles… gaining weight… getting sick.  Think about every commerical you’ve ever seen.  The underlying thought plays on our fear.  “If you don’t buy ??? you are missing something that you desperately need.  Your life won’t be complete with this car.  You won’t get a date without this brand of toothpaste.  Your children will never learn without this type of cereal.  Your mate will leave you if you have dandruff.. Fear.  Commercials work by convincing you of a need that you may or may not have.  You need water, you don’t necessarily need their water.  You need food to survive, you don’t need chocolate-fudge-brownie-surprise.  It will only make you happy for a moment, not a lifetime.  BUT GOD… His Word tells us that “perfect love casts out all fear.  The imagery for me is similar to the graphic shown above.  A big “bouncer” type butler-dude, grabbing hold of my little fears and power-kicking them out of my spirit.  Whatever the fear.  However small or large.  His love is big enough to handle my situations which are minuscule in comparison.

… ummmph…. whew! .. and that Beloved is Good News!

Y Stress?  …  U Blessed!

Have A Fabulous Day!

Come Up A little Higher…

Written by FAVORED1 on May 11, 2010 – 1:49 pm -

Holy Bible: Genuine Soul Food

Tuesday, May 11, 2010

But God is so rich in mercy, and He loved us so much, that even though we were dead because of our sins, He gave us life when He raised Christ from the dead.  (It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved!)  For He raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with Him in the Heavenly Realms because we are united with Christ Jesus.  So God can point to us in all future ages as examples of the incredible wealth of His grace and kindness toward us, as shown in all He has done for us who are united with Christ Jesus.  God saved you by His grace when you believed.  And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.  For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago.

[Ephesians 2:4-10 New Living Translation]

 Come Up A Little Higher!

  ”Higher”, Mali Music

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E3S2rJqcz7w

Good Afternoon Beloved,

This song has been playing over and over in my heart all day.  “Higher”.  Mali Music’s words grabbed me~

“Higher”

 Verse 1

got saved been saved/ too saved been praisin and/ livin for Me for a long long time/ workin hard stayin that grind that’s right/ sayin u wanna be avaylable/ touchin lives and blessin souls/ never been ashamed of that ole gospel/ holdin on and ya show nuff wanna let go/ but there’s a little something I’ve noticed/ I held my tongue so you can stay focused but/ it’s been a while since u called My name/ or even prayed like u used to in the good ole days/ yea I see u shining like a star/ but I think you’ve gotten comfortable with where u are/ so much I wanna show ya/so much I have for ya.

Hook

so come up a little higher/ higher/ higher/ higher/ high… (repeat)

Verse 2

higher/ is where I wanna take ya/ further/ is where I want u to go/ wider/ every city every nation/ I/ I really love u so/ but u gotta go deeper/ gotta increase the Word ya know/ so I can show a little more/ so u can preach the gospel/ eyes have not seen/ don’t nobody know/ what I have in store for u/ but to fly a little higher/ you gotta let your wing span grow/ just desire and want Me/ keep your spirit man wanting/ don’t lose your zeal/ stay hungry

Hook/Bridge

just put your trust in Me/ I’ve got everything that u need/ hope you’re not afraid of heights/ if you are then you’ll be alright/ don’t close your eyes/spread your wings and fly/ get comfortable cuz this is your life/ high in the sky with Me/ come on and fly with Me/as we go high…

Hook/

I love it!  All around me I see it.  A restlessness that has hit the Body of Christ like a tidalwave.  People are starting to move.  The “status quo” just ain’t cuttin’ it.  Saints are desiring more.  They are hungry and thirsty.  Some don’t even know what it is, but they want more of something.  That ‘Something’ is God Himself.  As the days grow shorter and time is winding up, He Is not playing.  Things are happening QUICKLY.  Sudden blessings. Sudden upheavals.  New partnerships..new relationships. Families reuniting.  Sudden decisions.  Good and bad, it will all work together for our good.  It may look a little shaky right now, but behinds the scenes, God’s higher plan is taking shape.  When He created us, He had a purpose in mind.  Some of us are starting to get little glimpses into what that was.  I believe we are going to be as surprised as everyone else.  I believe God is pulling things out of us that we never knew we had.  It is an exciting time.  It is a time of prayer and a time to seek the face of God like never before.  He said,

If My people, which are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land

[2 Chronicles 7:14:]

That’s the key.  Yes He wants us to live an abundant life full of joy and peace. Yes He wants to meet our need according to His riches in Glory.  Yes He wants us to live in wholeness–mind, soul and body.  He is not fazed by our desire for nice cars, houses, clothes… stuff.  Remember “the earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof”.  The bottom line is Kingdom business.  Souls into the Kingdom.  Saving the lost by pointing them to the Cross.  Fulfilling the purpose He placed within us before we were even born.. whatever that is.  There has been a shift.. winds of change are blowing…

… and that Beloved is Good News!

Y Stress? … U Blessed!
