Another Year of Grace :)

But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and He that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art Mine. When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.
[Isaiah 43:1-2]
Another Year of Grace
But now thus says the LORD that created you, O Regina, and He that formed you, O Regina, Fear not: for I have redeemed you, I have called you by your name; you are Mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you: when you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon you.
For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My Ways higher than your ways, and My Thoughts than your thoughts saith the LORD. [Isaiah 55:8-9]
But as it is written, eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither has entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for them that love Him.

The Very First Father
Written by FAVORED1 on June 13, 2011 – 8:55 am -Monday, June 13, 2011
And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
The Very First Father
HAPPY MONDAY!!! ~SMILE~In honor and celebration of Father’s Day. I thought I would take this week to bless and encourage the fathers. In order to do that, I have to start at the very beginning. The Father of all fathers. Our Heavenly Father. Sovereign Ruler of Heaven and Earth. The Great I AM. El Shaddai, the All-Sufficient One. The Great God Jehovah. His many names abound but we have the great privilege of calling Him “Father” in addition to all the rest. He created ‘Adam’ and breathed the breath of life into him, thus becoming his ‘Father’. He formed him with his own Hands and stood him up in his Holy presence and breathed INTO him. He released a piece of His very own power into this creature, and gave him authority over this earth realm. He gave him a great mind, with instructions for him to use it. He gave him the task of tending to the garden and naming every animal in it. Experts tell us that we only use about 10% of our brain… I believe Adam used all of his. He would have to complete such a daunting task. Adam was in essence ‘King’ of the world… and then God gave him his ‘Queen’ Eve. Together the two of them, in concert with the King of all Kings ruled this earth in peace and harmony, until a jealous enemy entered in, deceived them both, causing them to lose their happy home. Still, their Father watched over them. He never stopped loving them, and He had already worked out a plan for their return back to into His presence. Life for them changed… drastically. Suddenly they knew pain, toil, sweat, hardship.. even heartbreak. The first murder.. their first-born son, Cain kills their second-born son Abel. The one they had so much hope in, crushed them to the core. Sounds like us sometimes. Things don’t always go the way we hope, or believe they are going to. That is when trust kicks in. We have to trust that our Father God sees all and He has already worked it out for our good. It’s all good. Does it seem good? Maybe not. Does it feel good.. probably not… but it WILL work out FOR our good. A job loss doesn’t feel good, but the new job with better benefits and a higher salary will feel mighty fine
. Trust your Holy Daddy. Some may have had a poor example of a father, so trusting God as father may be a little difficult. Take heart… God knows. He knows what you’ve been through and He knows what you need. He is processing you and when you come through, you will be as pure gold refined in the refiners fire. You will be stronger, better, holier, filled with peace, joy and the love of God. Your confidence will not be in what you can do, but what He has already done. You will claim what is yours without fear. you will know who you are… a child of the Most High God.
… and that Beloved in Good News!

). The Son of God came to seek and to save that which was lost~you.. and me. If we were the only humans on earth that would accept His love gift, He would have done it anyway. One person is so valuable in the economy of Heaven that scripture says:Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repents.
) Well, in my heart I can see our God doing the same. In spite of the trouble humanity has caused over the centuries, Jesus looks at His nail-scarred hands and His pierced side, and wonder of wonders.. God still sings!“Lost Without You”, Lejuene Thompson

It’s All About Love
Written by FAVORED1 on February 14, 2011 – 10:12 am -Monday, February 14, 2011
[Mark 12:29-31]
It’s All About Love

Some experts state that it originated from St. Valentine, a Roman who was martyred for refusing to give up Christianity. He died on February 14, 269 A.D., the same day that had been devoted to love lotteries. Legend also says that St. Valentine left a farewell note for the jailer’s daughter, who had become his friend, and signed it “From Your Valentine”. Other aspects of the story say that Saint Valentine served as a priest at the temple during the reign of Emperor Claudius. Claudius then had Valentine jailed for defying him. In 496 A.D. Pope Gelasius set aside February 14 to honour St. Valentine… Under the rule of Emperor Claudius II Rome was involved in many bloody and unpopular campaigns. Claudius the Cruel was having a difficult time getting soldiers to join his military leagues. He believed that the reason was that Roman men did not want to leave their loves or families. As a result, Claudius cancelled all marriages and engagements in Rome. The good Saint Valentine was a priest at Rome in the days of Claudius II. He and Saint Marius aided the Christian martyrs and secretly married couples, and for this kind deed Saint Valentine was apprehended and dragged before the Prefect of Rome, who condemned him to be beaten to death with clubs and to have his head cut off….
If I could speak all the languages of earth and of angels, but didn’t love others, I would only be a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. If I had the gift of prophecy, and if I understood all of GOD’s secret plans and possessed all knowledge, and if I had such faith that I could move mountains, but didn’t love others, I would be nothing. If I gave everything I have to the poor and even sacrificed my body, I could boast about it; but if I didn’t love others, I would have gained nothing. Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance. Prophecy and speaking in unknown languages and special knowledge will become useless. But love will last forever! Now our knowledge is partial and incomplete, and even the gift of prophecy reveals only part of the whole picture! But when full understanding comes, these partial things will become useless. When I was a child, I spoke and thought and reasoned as a child. But when I grew up, I put away childish things. Now we see things imperfectly as in a cloudy mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity. All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as GOD now knows me completely. Three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love.
[1 Corinthians 13:1-13]
And… there is that romantic love between a man and woman. There are those who dislike this day for the same reason many dislike the Christmas Holiday. They feel it is all commercialization and hype. Folks say, “well, if you don’t know I love you 364 days a year, one day won’t make a difference”. Well, I’d like to go on record saying that I’m a hopeless romantic, who happens to be single (at the moment
) and I LOVE Valentine’s Day. I’ve watched my co-workers beam this morning when I wished them a “Happy Valentine’s Day”. It is Monday, and everybody has an extra little spring in their step this morning. No groggy “good mornings”. So, a day that celebrates love, and makes people smile and feel special is OK in my book. Should you make folks feel special every day? .. absolutely. However, I’ve noticed that when a day is global, something shifts in the atmosphere.. so enjoy this day. If you have a “Boo” or a “Sweetheart” .. be extra sweet to them. If you don’t have one yet, know that you are loved beyond your comprehension by a King. You are loved by your family.. you are loved by your friends… and you are loved by ME! HUGZ!!!!
Love Is the Greatest!
…and what’s so nice is that~
HAVE A HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY!!!
I Love U!
… but God Loves U More!

God is not a man, that He should lie; neither the son of man, that He should repent: has He said, and shall He not do it? or has He spoken, and shall He not make it good?
…. AND IT IS SO…
Good Afternoon Beloved,
Happy Friday! I hope your Thanksgiving Day was as beautiful and memorable as mine. Number 23:19 is a really strong statement. If God said it.. it is so. No matter what it may look like to the natural eye. No matter what is going on in the economy. No matter our age or affliction. If He said it, then it shall come to pass. Period. End of discussion. The only dilemma I’ve had is determining if He said, I said it or somebody else said it
. Once I am confident that it was indeed the Lord’s will, I realize that it is a done deal. Even when it does not make sense to my “senses”.. I have to remember He said, “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways… (Isaiah 55:8). In His Word, He made promises to His beloved. He promised that we would be the “head and not the tail”… “above only and not beneath” (Deuteronomy 28:13), “the lender and not the borrower” (Deuteronomy 28:44). He said He would “never leave nor forsake us” (Hebrews 13:5), and that the “people that do know their God shall be strong and will do exploits” (Daniel 11:32). He promised “that no good thing will He withhold from those who walk upright” (Psalm 84:11). He never promised that we would never endure hardship. As a matter of fact, we are admonished to “endure hardship as a good soldier” (2 Timothy 2:10). His Word is solid. It is not like the word of a fallible human being. Some folks mean well, but they are not all powerful, sovereign, or omnipotent. I’ve heard it said that many people judge God, based on the relationship they had with their earthly father. If that man was untruthful and untrust-worthy, they translate that over into their walk with God. They will not give God their heart completely, because they are afraid they will be disappointed and hurt like they were with their natural father. That can never happen. Yes, we can be disappointed when we attach something to God that He never promised. If we misinterpret His Word, that is not on Him.. it is on us. God is so wonderful that He says “come, let us reason together” (Isaiah 1:18). Let’s talk about this God is saying. Let’s get this situation together. Let Me recalibrate your heart, mind, will and emotions so that we’re on the same page. My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me: And I give to them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of My Hand.
[John 10:27-28]
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.[Jeremiah 29:11]
…and that Beloved is Good News!

PERFECT LOVE.
Written by FAVORED1 on September 28, 2010 – 6:31 am -Tuesday, September 28, 2010
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear: because fear has torment. He that fears is not made perfect in love.
“Perfect Love”
Good Morning Beloved,
I woke up with a “this is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it”, in my spirit! I’ve determined to commit this day into the care and keeping of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I resolve to listen to what He’s already said and observe to do all that is written in His commands. I can only do that by His Spirit in humble submission to His will for my life. My way will be made prosperous and I will have good success (yeah.. I’m still feeling that from yesterday!
). Nothing can possibly happen today that will escape His notice or His care. His plan is settled in the Heavens. His ways are not my way, nor are His thoughts my thoughts. The assignment He has for me is for me. He could use anyone, but He chooses to use me and I glad about that. My perspective on life is changing as I shed off unnecessary baggage and put on the attributes of Christ. Every day I’m learning something new. Everyday I’m seeing something with a fresh new set of eyes. His way is not just “right”… it’s “better” (thank you Tye Tribbett!). He loves us with a perfect love. A love that is not based on what we have or what we can do. It is simply based on “whose we are”. We were created in the image and after the likeness of God. He made us. When we make something, we feel a special attachment to the thing that we made. When I was in Junior High school, I made a black and white dog pillow. I sewed it by hand because I was afraid of the sewing machine. I was afraid I would sew my fingers. The stitches are crooked and it looks kinda funny, but do you know my mother still has that pillow on her bed! Why? Because I made it. I have given her countless teddy bears and stuffies over the years. Valentines Day, Christmas, birthdays… but she still holds on to that pitiful looking dog
. This world is literally a cauldron of fear. Whether we know it or not we are bombarded by fear on a daily basis. Fear of lack, fear of our neighbors, fear that our co-workers are going to go slap crazy and shoot up the workplace. Fear that our children won’t be successful. Fear that they will be left out because they don’t have the latest and the greatest new whatever the ads are trying to sell us. Fear of growing older.. going gray… getting wrinkles… gaining weight… getting sick. Think about every commerical you’ve ever seen. The underlying thought plays on our fear. “If you don’t buy ??? you are missing something that you desperately need. Your life won’t be complete with this car. You won’t get a date without this brand of toothpaste. Your children will never learn without this type of cereal. Your mate will leave you if you have dandruff.. Fear. Commercials work by convincing you of a need that you may or may not have. You need water, you don’t necessarily need their water. You need food to survive, you don’t need chocolate-fudge-brownie-surprise. It will only make you happy for a moment, not a lifetime. BUT GOD… His Word tells us that “perfect love casts out all fear“. The imagery for me is similar to the graphic shown above. A big “bouncer” type butler-dude, grabbing hold of my little fears and power-kicking them out of my spirit. Whatever the fear. However small or large. His love is big enough to handle my situations which are minuscule in comparison.
… ummmph…. whew! .. and that Beloved is Good News!
Y Stress? … U Blessed!
Have A Fabulous Day!

Come Up A little Higher…
Written by FAVORED1 on May 11, 2010 – 1:49 pm -Tuesday, May 11, 2010
But God is so rich in mercy, and He loved us so much, that even though we were dead because of our sins, He gave us life when He raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved!) For He raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with Him in the Heavenly Realms because we are united with Christ Jesus. So God can point to us in all future ages as examples of the incredible wealth of His grace and kindness toward us, as shown in all He has done for us who are united with Christ Jesus. God saved you by His grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago.
[Ephesians 2:4-10 New Living Translation]
Come Up A Little Higher!
”Higher”, Mali Music
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HKMD0ZmikFQ
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E3S2rJqcz7w
Good Afternoon Beloved,
This song has been playing over and over in my heart all day. “Higher”. Mali Music’s words grabbed me~
“Higher”
Verse 1
got saved been saved/ too saved been praisin and/ livin for Me for a long long time/ workin hard stayin that grind that’s right/ sayin u wanna be avaylable/ touchin lives and blessin souls/ never been ashamed of that ole gospel/ holdin on and ya show nuff wanna let go/ but there’s a little something I’ve noticed/ I held my tongue so you can stay focused but/ it’s been a while since u called My name/ or even prayed like u used to in the good ole days/ yea I see u shining like a star/ but I think you’ve gotten comfortable with where u are/ so much I wanna show ya/so much I have for ya.
Hook
so come up a little higher/ higher/ higher/ higher/ high… (repeat)
Verse 2
higher/ is where I wanna take ya/ further/ is where I want u to go/ wider/ every city every nation/ I/ I really love u so/ but u gotta go deeper/ gotta increase the Word ya know/ so I can show a little more/ so u can preach the gospel/ eyes have not seen/ don’t nobody know/ what I have in store for u/ but to fly a little higher/ you gotta let your wing span grow/ just desire and want Me/ keep your spirit man wanting/ don’t lose your zeal/ stay hungry
Hook/Bridge
just put your trust in Me/ I’ve got everything that u need/ hope you’re not afraid of heights/ if you are then you’ll be alright/ don’t close your eyes/spread your wings and fly/ get comfortable cuz this is your life/ high in the sky with Me/ come on and fly with Me/as we go high…
Hook/
I love it! All around me I see it. A restlessness that has hit the Body of Christ like a tidalwave. People are starting to move. The “status quo” just ain’t cuttin’ it. Saints are desiring more. They are hungry and thirsty. Some don’t even know what it is, but they want more of something. That ‘Something’ is God Himself. As the days grow shorter and time is winding up, He Is not playing. Things are happening QUICKLY. Sudden blessings. Sudden upheavals. New partnerships..new relationships. Families reuniting. Sudden decisions. Good and bad, it will all work together for our good. It may look a little shaky right now, but behinds the scenes, God’s higher plan is taking shape. When He created us, He had a purpose in mind. Some of us are starting to get little glimpses into what that was. I believe we are going to be as surprised as everyone else. I believe God is pulling things out of us that we never knew we had. It is an exciting time. It is a time of prayer and a time to seek the face of God like never before. He said,
If My people, which are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land
[2 Chronicles 7:14:]
That’s the key. Yes He wants us to live an abundant life full of joy and peace. Yes He wants to meet our need according to His riches in Glory. Yes He wants us to live in wholeness–mind, soul and body. He is not fazed by our desire for nice cars, houses, clothes… stuff. Remember “the earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof”. The bottom line is Kingdom business. Souls into the Kingdom. Saving the lost by pointing them to the Cross. Fulfilling the purpose He placed within us before we were even born.. whatever that is. There has been a shift.. winds of change are blowing…

. Once I am confident that it was indeed the Lord’s will, I realize that it is a done deal. Even when it does not make sense to my “senses”.. I have to remember He said,
