Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
[Isaiah 43:19]

******************************************

For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall My word be that goeth forth out of My mouth: it shall not return unto Me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.

[Isaiah 55:8-12]

Good Evening Beloved,

HAPPY FRIDAY!!!!

Been a really busy day, but these scriptures have been absolutely leaping in my heart all day.

I am so excited!!!  ……..MySpaceGraphicsandAnimations.org I received news today that the position I’ve been in for the past 3 years is being “restructured”… which means I am about to be “restructured”… out of a job!   Why am I so excited?  Because those who know me know how tenacious (some may say stubborn) I can be.  I was plugging right along, working here and doing all of my other stuff around this schedule.  I always say that when God drops a message in your heart … it is for us first.  He is talking to us and then He wants us to share what we’ve received with others who are hearing the same.  From heart to heart.  God never ceases to amaze me and His timing is awesome.  I told my friends this afternoon that:

I don’t know what God has in store for me, but I know that I know it is something great.  You can always tell promotion is about to happen by watching the winds of change and if you notice attacks seemingly come from everywhere!  You seem to be backed in a corner with no way out.. God likes it like that because when we come out, He gets ALL the glory and it’s obvious that it was Him!  Continue to keep me and my peeps lifted in prayer that we’ll do what He wants and move into our destiny!

I mean that with every ounce of my being.  You see, I’ve been here before.  God has always worked this way with me.  There are little signs along the way that I’ve grown accustomed to and recognize.  Transition.  My friend Tina said something… a little faux pas.. she said “God in Good”.  Now she meant to say “God is Good”, but I told her that would preach right there!  God is in Good”… everything will work out for our “good” because we love Him and we are the called according to His purpose.  He has always been our source and our resource.  He has always taken care of us.  Our needs have always been supplied according to His riches in glory.  He has always shown Himself strong on our behalf, and I have not doubt that He will not only continue, but He is about to surpass my greatest expectations and THAT’s why I am sooooo excited!

…. and that Beloved is Good News!

Y Stress?  … U Blessed!

Have A Fabulous Day and a Wonderful Weekend

I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 3:14

I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.

Philippians 3:14

Good Morning Beloved,

Happy New Year!…. Welcome to the very first Friday of 2009!  A brand new year… wow.  I really believe this year is a year of fulfillment and completion. What was started last year, I believe will be completed this year.  I love the start of a new year because I see it as another year God has graced us to draw nearer to Him, and work our assignment.  Each day is a precious gift.  We have so many opportunities all around us.  New Year’s Eve, I saw a mother who has a terminal illness, and has faced death many times over the years, get the opportunity to apologize to her children for what she had done in the past.  She was able to receive forgiveness, love, hugs, and kisses from them … what a blessing!  No matter how long she has with them, they will never forget that night.  We are not to become amnesiac over our past, but we should not dwell on the past either.  Our past is what has brought us to where we are.  The compassion we have for the lost, the understanding we have for the single mother, the love we have for the wayward child, the patience we have for the addict, the empathy we have for those struggling in faltering marriages — would not be in us if we had not been in their shoes at some point in our life.  The bible tells us in Luke 9:62:

But Jesus told him, “Anyone who puts a hand to the plow and then looks back is not fit for the Kingdom of God.”

…and in Revelations 2:5 tells us:

Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent, and do the works you did at first. If not, I will come to you and remove your lamp stand from its place, unless you repent.

Some would count that as a contradiction, but on the contrary.  I believe that there is a difference between ‘looking back’ longingly on our past craziness, and remembering from whence we have come.  It is a matter of the condition of heart.  A person set free from the bondage of sin, can be used greatly in the kingdom to tell others of The One who saved and delivered them….

….pressing on… no looking back

That my friend …. is Good News!

Refreshment Station
-Romans 15:32
65 of 105

If you are becoming weary in your faith walk, perhaps it’s time to draw on the strength and refreshing that God provides through the force of joy. Nehemiah 8:10 tells us that the joy of the Lord is our strength.

This cartoon is an illustration of the battle that goes on inside our mind. Wrong thoughts may try to come into our mind, but we must remain on guard, and usher them out as quickly as they came in.

Ranger Rescue
-Isaiah 52:7

This cartoon is an encouragement to the church to get out of the “ranger station” of the church building, and up on the “mountain” of the world, where people are in need of rescue.
