VACATION!
Written by FAVORED1 on January 4, 2010 – 4:10 pm -Monday, January 4, 2010
I hate the two-faced, but I love Your clear-cut revelation. You’re my place of quiet retreat; I wait for Your Word to renew me. Get out of my life, evildoers, so I can keep my GOD’s commands. Take my side as You promised; I’ll live then for sure. Don’t disappoint all my grand hopes. Stick with me and I’ll be all right; I’ll give total allegiance to Your definitions of life. Expose all who drift away from Your sayings; their casual idolatry is lethal. You reject earth’s wicked as so much rubbish; therefore I lovingly embrace everything You say. I shiver in awe before You; Your decisions leave me speechless with reverence.
[Psalm 119:113 Message]
*******
I hate vain thoughts: but Thy law do I love. Thou art my hiding place and my shield: I hope in Thy word. Depart from me, ye evildoers: for I will keep the commandments of my God. Uphold me according unto Thy word, that I may live: and let me not be ashamed of my hope. Hold Thou me up, and I shall be safe: and I will have respect unto Thy statutes continually. Thou hast trodden down all them that err from Thy statutes: for their deceit is falsehood. Thou puttest away all the wicked of the earth like dross: therefore I love Thy testimonies. My flesh trembleth for fear of Thee; and I am afraid of Thy judgments.
[Psalm 119:113-120 King James Version]
VACATION!

Good Afternoon Beloved,
Happy Monday!
… this Psalm makes me think of a nice, relaxing vacation. It reminds me that in His “presence is fullness of joy” and at His “right hand there are pleasures forevermore”[Psalm 16:11]. God’s promises are yes and AMEN. They are a done deal… forever sealed in Heaven and earth. As we rest in the knowledge of who He is, we are better equipped to deal with people and who they are. This verse and many others, never gloss over the fact that there are evildoers. People who do evil just because. No rhyme or reason. There are people who are so bound in jealousy, envy and anger that they are really dangerous. God has given us discernment to ‘feel out’ situations, and wisdom to handle them. We are charged not to ignore warning signals that God places in our spirit. It is for our own protection as is the law of God. For an unbelieving world, the Bible is a rule book of ‘dos and don’ts’. It assaults the lowly nature of our existence because that rebellious spirit does not want to be told what to do. Even when it doesn’t know to do, it still does not want someone telling it what to do
. For the heart that declares a love for the law of God (His Word) we have found a refuge… a hiding place from the terrors of the world. A place where we can be built up, and equipped to handle whatever happens in life.
… and that Beloved is Good News!

“Ultimate Security”
Written by FAVORED1 on March 30, 2009 – 11:04 am -Monday, March 30, 2009
“You are my hiding place; You shalt preserve me from trouble; You shall compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.”
[Psalm 32:7]
He that dwells in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
[Psalm 91:1]
“Ultimate Security”
Good Morning Beloved,
“Security”… even with everything going on around us in today’s society, there is a security we can be assured of. We can be secure in our knowledge of our God. Our hearts can rest in a few other truths also:
*it is completely impossible for Him to lie
*whatever He says is IS
*He will not put more on us than we are able to bear
*He won’t allow us to be tempted above what we are able to handle
*all of our days are numbered before Him
*eyes have not seen, ears heard, nor has ever entered our hearts the
good that God has in store for those who love Him
*He knows the number of hairs on our heads (or lack thereof)
*He knows our name!
We would be in awe, if we only knew how many times God has spared our lives and protected us on a daily basis. Two of our cast-mates were involved in an accident on the way to the Saturday production. It could have been deadly… BUT GOD! Someone was able to pick them up, and they were still able to minister their performances — without injury! To God be the Glory! God’s Angels are encamped around and about us, His Holy Spirit lives within us leading and guiding us to all truth, Jesus has cleansed us with His own blood and is even now praying and interceding for us…
… and that Beloved.. is Good News!
Remember to put your gear on!
U Blessed

‘ARISE BELOVED’
Written by FAVORED1 on September 24, 2008 – 8:09 am -
Wednesday, September 24, 2008
Arise, shine; for your light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon you.
Good Morning Beloved,
‘Arise’…. I like that word. It gives me a picture of someone who really feels as though they are truly ‘down for the count’. Someone who does not have any strength left, and Someone of great strength and power comes along and tells them to ‘arise’. This Person can tell them that, because This Person has the power to help the fallen person to ‘rise up’. To the person fallen in any area of weakness, fear, anxiety, sadness, anger, hopelessness, weariness, God says, ‘Arise’. He is a good Father who loves His child, and who gently reaches out His Hand to lift His beloved from the place they have fallen.

….. and that my friend is ‘Good News’….
U Blessed,
Have A Fabulous Day!

The world around us is dark & scary & full of sin. But if we stay close to Jesus, we will be safe in His light.

A Loving Friend
Written by FAVORED1 on September 2, 2008 – 9:55 am -
!). We probably know the verse that fits the occasion anyway. When we’re the special guest at our very own ‘worry-pity-mad fest’…. it is amazing how God will invite Himself… remember He said He would, “never leave us or forsake us“(Hebrews 13:5)… that means He is always there. In the times where we can’t hear Him, He always has a “ram in the bush”. During that time, He will send someone to us that we can hear… a friend, that “loves at all times“. (Proverbs 17:17). I really appreciate my friends, people in whom God has placed, grace, overflowing compassion, love, and encouragement. I’m grateful to have been blessed with a family, that I am also privileged to call friends. When they see me heading towards dangerous territory, they step in my path and help me get back on track…. God’s Hands in action!… His Love truly does encompass us!… it’s all around us!!!http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LmP7R93Aga4
Cartoonist’s Comment:
When you are facing a mountain that seems impossible to move, you don’t have to face it alone. We have a family of brothers and sisters that can add their faith to yours, and together you can get the job done.

… From Jesus…
Written by FAVORED1 on May 29, 2008 – 6:06 am -Good Morning Beloved,
Let me set this before you as plainly as I can. If a person climbs over or through the fence of a sheep pen instead of going through the gate, you know he’s up to no good—a sheep rustler! The shepherd walks right up to the gate. The gatekeeper opens the gate to him and the sheep recognize his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. When he gets them all out, he leads them and they follow because they are familiar with his voice. They won’t follow a stranger’s voice but will scatter because they aren’t used to the sound of it.” ……… “I’ll be explicit, then. I am the Gate for the sheep. All those others are up to no good—sheep stealers, every one of them. But the sheep didn’t listen to them. I am the Gate. Anyone who goes through me will be cared for—will freely go in and out, and find pasture. The thief is only there to steal and kill and destroy. I came so they can have real and eternal life, more and better life than they ever dreamed of. “I am the Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd puts the sheep before himself, sacrifices himself if necessary. A hired man is not a real shepherd. The sheep mean nothing to him. He sees a wolf come and runs for it, leaving the sheep to be ravaged and scattered by the wolf. He’s only in it for the money. The sheep don’t matter to him. “I am the Good Shepherd. I know My own sheep and My own sheep know Me. In the same way, the Father knows Me and I know the Father. I put the sheep before Myself, sacrificing Myself if necessary. You need to know that I have other sheep in addition to those in this pen. I need to gather and bring them, too. They’ll also recognize My voice. Then it will be one flock, one Shepherd. This is why the Father loves me: because I freely lay down my life. And so I am free to take it up again. No one takes it from Me. I lay it down of My own free will. I have the right to lay it down; I also have the right to take it up again. I received this authority personally from my Father.” …. Everything I have done has been authorized by My Father, actions that speak louder than words. ……….. My sheep recognize My voice. I know them, and they follow Me. I give them real and eternal life. They are protected from the Destroyer for good. No one can steal them from out of My hand. The Father who put them under My care is so much greater than the Destroyer and Thief. No one could ever get them away from Him. I and the Father are One.”
Love,
Jesus
(John 10:1-30)
