The LORD is near to all them that call upon Him, to all that call upon Him in truth.  He will fulfill the desire of them that fear Him: He also will hear their cry, and will save them.  [Psalm 145:18-19]

“Call ME”

Good Morning Beloved,

HAPPY FRIDAY!!!!

Sometimes the simplest truths are the most profound.  With so much swirling around us, we can forget our staunchest ally and our closest friend… Jesus.  Didn’t He say He would “never leave nor forsake us“?  He is that Friend that “sticketh closer than a brother“.  He our Rock.  We can lean on Him.  He will never break under pressure.. pressure has to bow before His Holiness.  There is no “thing” on earth that can separate us from the love of God.  Even if we walk away from Him, His position never changed.  Call Him.  During our good days we should call Him… to thank Him for them.  During our not-so good days we should call Him.. praising Him in advance for the way through.  Know that He will sustain us, no matter what is happening.  Sometimes we can get overwhelmed by GOOD STUFF!  So many blessings coming so fast, I believe the Bible calls that being “overtaken by blessings“.  Don’t laugh.  When what we’ve prayed for suddenly shows up, sometimes we don’t know what to DO with it.  We question it.  “Is this really God or is the enemy trying to trick me”.  Ever notice some of the greatest miracles occur in our life when we feel we deserve them the least?  Maybe we’ve fallen short in an area, or have been lacking in something.  We may not have prayed like we felt we should.. read our Bible like we know we should.. fasted.. witnessed or encouraged anybody… led a soul to our beautiful Savior.  Our hearts and other people condemn us, when we’ve “walked after the flesh”.  God’s solution is simple ~ walk after the Spirit.  There… problem solved.. NO condemnation.  Sounds good Regina, how do we do that?  There is no easy answer.  Moment by moment decisions for righteousness, quick repentance when we fall short.  God’s grace is sufficient for whatever is going on in our lives.  Every moment we are presented with choices.. to do right or to do wrong.  Sometimes, the waters are a little murky.  The thing may not be inherently wrong, just not right for us.  One person may be able to drink a glass of wine, but for the person who struggled with alcoholism, it may not be a good idea.  The Holy Spirit who dwells in us is our guide, to lead us in the way we should go.  He is our enabler that gives us the strength to do what is right.  He is our teacher that gives us the knowledge we need to navigate through the sea of life.  He is our comforter, that rises up in our spirit and applies a soothing balm to our soul after we have “blown it’ big time, or our heart is broken.  Call Him.  Jesus said that He will answer us when we call.

… and that Beloved is GOOD NEWS!

Indescribable Goodness

…Or despisest thou the riches of His goodness and forbearance and long suffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?

[Romans 2:4]

Good Morning Beloved,

God is so good.  The Bible says that in the presence of God is “fullness of joy and at His right hand pleasures forevermore” (Psalm 16:11) …. I know that to be true.  It is not just something I heard about.  It isn’t something you can really describe to anyone who has not experienced it.  We are living epistles read by humanity. Like it or not, our God is judged by His children.  What is our first thought when we see a wild, rude, undisciplined child in public?  I don’t know about you, but I immediately wonder what kind of parents they have…if any.  You know the old say, “the apple does not fall far from the tree”. This can be an unfair assessment.  I’ve known great parents with crazy children and vice versa.  God is a great parent… the ultimate parent… and look at some of His kids. Being in His presence, is like being under a magnifying glass.  Our every flaw is revealed.  The truth is clear…there is no doubt.  This naked honesty may be too much for some, and could be why many avoid an actual encounter with the Living God.  I’d so much rather get that soul-examination now, when my stuff can be corrected, then to ignore God, and be unprepared to meet Him on my day.  Last night during rehearsal, after a day of corporate fasting and prayer, we took communion and allowed the presence of God to fill the temple.  It was absolutely indescribable.  In the production my character is a demon, ‘fear’.  Playing demonic, negative characters is very serious.  I know the importance of God first sanctioning a project, and then covering it with the Blood of Jesus.  It is not something to be taken lightly.  The adversary does his best work hiding under the cover of anonymity. He wants people to continue to doubt his existence, so that he can wreak havoc in their lives undetected.  Last night, as I was praying over the area deemed ‘hell’, I felt an over-whelming burden.  The Spirit of God was heavy over there, and I felt God’s Word in my spirit.  I felt that for some this will not just be a stage play, but a reality.  They will not be able to take off their costumes, wash their faces and grab some dinner.  Hell is a real place.  We are doing well in our presentation, but our best attempts to describe that terrible place fall helplessly short.  Jesus spoke of it often.  He knew the horrors it contains.  It was never intended for the sons and daughters of Adam and Eve.  It was created for satan and his followers… unfortunately, if the sons and daughters of Adam and Eve line up in the evil ones “entourage”, they will go where he is headed.   BUT GOD…

The Lord isn’t really being slow about His promise, as some people think. No, He is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent.

[2 Peter 3:9 New Living Translation]

Our God is a God of justice, but also a God of mercy. Through the blood of Jesus, God’s mercy is available to us now. It is up to us to decide to accept it. We don’t want to be camping out in “Sin Forest” when judgment time comes.

Bread of Life
-2 Corinthians 2:14

2 of 116

Jesus said in John 6:36 “I am the bread of life”. It is up to the believers to take the Bread of Life (Jesus) out of the Bakery (the church building), to where the hungry people are. After eating “Satan’s Garbage”, the aroma of the Bread of Life will certainly smell good.

Look Behind You :0)

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever

Passage Psalm 23:6

(“Lord You Are Good”  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KAGZ8HmiWCM)

Good Morning Beloved,

I see a beautiful word picture when I read that verse.  Goodness and Mercy ever-present with me, one on each side following me, with their eyes fixed on the future.  They see far ahead of me, and know that shortly, I will need them.  The bible says that:

“…or despise thou the riches of His goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance? {Romans 2:4 KJV}.

So it is God who decides to show mercy. We can neither choose it nor work for it”.

(Romans 9:16 NLT)

It is reassuring to know that God knows that we will mess up… It would be awesome if we NEVER made another mistake after coming to faith in Christ…. but, since we do… How beautiful that the mercy of God keeps God from killing us on the spot (like some of the folks in the old testament), and the goodness of God kicks in where we have the opportunity to repent, be restored and abundantly blessed.

Now THAT is Good News!

U Blessed

Have A Fabulous Day Child of God
